My attempt at the Pac-Man scoring record which will be held at the Alderwood Another Castle Video Games store on Friday April 15th from 1:00pm to 6:00pm. I don't think anybody from the state of Washington had a perfect Pac-Man score of 3,333,360 before. I got interviewed by 107.7 The End with Gregr last Friday about my record attempt at Pac-Man just a good half hour before I did that at Another Castle Video Games in Lynnwood even though I didn't even come close to the record due to myself being slow on the uptake with the quarters. I have been making history for beating and/or being in the all-time Top 5 in high scores with other games such as NARC, Final Fight, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Turtles in Time, The Simpsons, Punch-Out!, and Final Fight. The first huge test for me would be the mother of all arcade games which is Pac-Man. I've been inspired by Steve Wiebe and Billy Mitchell from the 2007 documentary The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters on their quest for the highest score in the 1981 classic arcade game, Donkey Kong, which is why I want to be in the same level as these guys in the world of vintage arcade gaming someday and so far in my first few months since playing arcade games competitively last November. I am also doing it for a great cause for people with autism on all spectrums including myself since I have Asperger's Syndrome. I am currently working at Safeway as a courtesy clerk at the Lake Serene store and have been for the past 15 years starting in January 2001.
