Already have a PS4, which means I pretty much already have an XBone too considering how little difference there is between their libraries. The only difference I'm actually aware of is Halo. Dont care about that.

Rare's releases, Forza, Halo, Gears, a few others...
Cities Skylines console release (no PS4 version yet).

Xbox One is supposed to run Windows 10 and have superior multimedia features too.

PS4 is out selling the Xbox One and even Xbox fan boys have told me how much the Xbox One sucks. One said and I quote, the 360 was really cool but the Xbox One went in the wrong direction. That is not from me but from a Halo / Xbox fan I know.

Microsoft mandates it is called All In One Entertainment System in all official materials including press releases.

It's not a console like PS4 and Wii U.

I know plenty of PS4 fans who claim PS4 is awful as well because it sucks at playing multimedia (this is a key part of the first 3 Playstations) and they have to have other devices hooked up to their TVs to watch movies and stuff.

PS4 is notorious for it's horrible build quality in both the system and controller.

The point is there are plenty of upset people on every side.

Meh you can't please everyone...

Far as I'm concerned, everything is terrible, bah.

XBone's controller is bloody awful and the console doesnt stand out (I cant imagine why anyone that has even an old PC would need functions like that on a console device), Sony's gizmos are all very, very low build quality... I cant even count the number of controllers I've gone through... Nintendo, er... uh.... and the PC is stuck with bloody Windows and it's problems.

I am suspicious. I am going to ask someone on my Facebook who works with TecmoKOEI as a Community Manager in the European areas. If he's heard about this and if this "All In One Entertainment System" is true or to debunk it. Plus that price tag in the currencies posted the same price is suspicious. Since curriancies are either worth more or less.

I wish I could explain better, but I'll get confused looking at all those numbers and lose track.

They spent $100 Million designing the controller.
Though I hear the elite controller is good but it cost $150 and is customizable.

PS4 Controller has issues as well, especially with the sticks.

I love my Wii U controller.

Though Xbox One is believed to have sold almost 25 Million 2x the Wii U.

Aye, the damn thing is definitely popular. Everyone I know has one, which is moderately irritating. I've simply refused to buy one. The only reason for me to ever get one is to play games online with them, which'd require re-buying games I already have, and the damn thing would have no other function whatsoever. In the end, it'd be a glorified paperweight. Or just a dust collector like the PS4 currently is.

Only the Wii U ever gets used. First console I havent loathed in over a decade.

At least the Wii U gets some love.

I thought I'd imagined the change in the topic title there. If they're going to edit it, they need to at least A: tell you why, and B: have the title make sense here. Just "xbox" isnt much of an explanation of what the topic is, eh? Ugh. Sometimes, this forum, bah....

Well that explains that bit of confusion at least.

It explains nothing, since other price cut thread and launch threads didn't get modded, not even my own.

It doesn't violate any of the vague forum rules unless it offended someone...

Why not just message one of the mods about it? I mean, they really should have explained from the start...

Because unless I know which mod, modded the topic it's pointless.
Each have their own interpretation of the vague rules and have section of the rules that gives them "power".
It says review the rules on posting this kind of post "immediately" because it violates forum rules.

I suspect I was reported and someone complained.

If that's the case, something tells me I know who reported. If I'm right, well... quite tired of that individual. I'll do some reporting of my own if this crap keeps happening.

What I wish I knew is which mod keeps giving in so easily. Not that this info would be of THAT much use, but then again, maybe it would. Things could be discussed with the others and resolved in that case.

Really, I have nothing against any individual moderators, most of them are friendly enough, but the freaking ADMINS, provided they A: exist and B: care about the site, need to actually police things better. Just allowing moderators, friendly or otherwise, to interpret the rules instead of sticking to them strictly is an awful way to run a site. If the moderation is this bloody vague and random, something is very wrong. On any other forum I've ever been to, this wouldnt be tolerated for a moment and the mods in question would be instantly booted. Heck, the mod in question doesnt even know enough of their job to EXPLAIN things when making moderation edits. I understand that for some of us it's easy to miss things, and sometimes we dont entirely grasp stuff like that when we're in such roles. But when it comes to moderation of a major forum, you CANNOT allow exceptions like that. Such a person should not be a moderator.

You know, it might actually be worth posting about this in the site-discussion forum. This is the sort of thing that really needs some feedback. I mean, really, this kind of crap is pretty bad for a forum like this. Particularly considering that this is a forum filled with sensitive (and often quirky) individuals that already have tons of communication problems as it is. We dont need this crap here. And I direct this statement also to the ones that are doing this type of reporting and "backseat moderating". There's a few individuals at this site that do this repeatedly, and all it does is damage; it doesnt help anything.
