Does anybody on here play a game called Geopolitical Simulator? I want to know if anybody knew about this game from small indie company in France called Eversim. I was playing this for years and I can't even get my head around the complex mechanisms of the game. I feel really slow at it. The game community didn't help at all much and I feel bad just having to email the developers for help. I just wish somebody at the developer company can just make a sample video play-through of this amazing game. It's driving me mentally insane.

That type of game rarely gets proper tutorials or even videos from the developers. The best you can do is just search on Youtube for LPs of the game or something.

Alot of expansive strategy games have this issue.

Just watched a video of someone playing this on youtube, looks interesting. I had to laugh when I saw "U.S. President Jack Ohama"

Based on my experience from Tropico 3, I say this: Don't be afraid to go overbudget/in the red. It's better to go into debt than to act like you have enough resources to pay for everything when you don't.

^^Reading that now, it doesn't quite make sense. What I mean is "It's better to borrow money to cover necessary costs than to to try and make do with obviously insufficient assets."

Not really, the game's developers also have a reputation for being slow. It seems like all new posts related to the release of the new game in the series are mixed with reserved optimism and criticism the developers themselves.

I need to bump this thread because. The game has an unofficial forum at http://www.rulers-of-nations-forum.com but I'm having a tough time asking for help.

It's haRd to grasp their advice.
