If Your Favorite Characters Lived in the Pokemon World...

...What would their Pokemon be and why? Also, what region and city do you see them most dwelling in?

In my case, I chose Scott from the Total Drama series to start things out with:

Delphox: I've always compared Scott to a fox in the past, (I see it as his spirit animal), because he's just so sly and manipulative. Plus, fire types always seemed like his thing to me, (sort of cliche' since he's a redhead, but you get my point). So, I'd say a firefox is right up his alley... I know that Vulpix and Ninetales were already thing, but I just feel like Delphox is a much better fit.

Garchomp: Considering that Gible is the "landshark Pokemon", it only fits to have this beast on his team... I can imagine several scenarios in my head over how Scott is afraid of this cute, little Gible, only to grow closer to it as time goes on... I like naming my male Garchomps Fang just for this reason.

Gardevoir: Another part psychic type, I know, but hear me out on this one... If it's one thing that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red and Blue Rescue Team has taught me, it's that Gardevoir are very devoted to their trainers, no matter how cruel they may be... I feel like they're able to sense the good in everyone no matter what, so I could possibly see Gardevoir's goodness rubbing off on Scott to help him become a better person... Hope that makes sense.

While Fennekin is his starter Pokemon, I feel that Scott would be better off in Sinnoh, particularly in Solaceon Town.

But those are just my ideas... What about yours?

I did see another topic similar to this one, only instead of fictional characters, it was of you as yourself in the Pokemon world... Just figured this would be a fun topic to make.

Another reason I decided to make this topic was because once Pokemon: Sun and Moon rolls around, I plan on making a Pokemon trainer based after Lilo from Lilo & Stitch, (as silly as that sounds).

Also, this isn't just restricted to animated characters, since I know that some adult Aspies prefer to watch cartoons a lot less, so feel free to fire away your ideas!

Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VII would have:
Gallade, since like Cloud they are expert swords-Pokemon.
Scyther
Aerodactyl or Charizard X [since there are dragons in FFVII that are similar]
Sceptile [for some reason Sceptile seems like something Cloud would have]
Absol
Luxray
Zoroark
Noivern
Rugarugan
[for some reason all of these Pokemon seem like good fits for Cloud, especially Luxray, Zoroark, and Rugarugan, since Cloud's symbol is the wolf Fenrir]

Tifa Lockheart from Final Fantasy VII would have:
Gardevoir
Infernape
Meinshao
Lucario
Medicham
Milotic
[Tifa is an expert fighter, but also quite graceful.]

My thinking is that they might like to live in the Sinnoh region, since Sinnoh is full of vibrant forests and beautiful scenery and Cloud and Tifa live together in a grey city surrounded by a desolate wasteland. They might live in Eterna City, come to think of it.

What a fun topic!

Sword from the game Away Shuffle Dungeon: In that game he picks up creatures called Fupongs that help him in the dungeons. There are 4 different types, the green restores life points for him, the yellow can zap enemies with electricity, the red can flame away ice blocks and the blue creates a protective shield around him and can also neutralize fire blocks. The Fupongs are cute so he would likely pick cute Pokémon.
So I see him having a Chansey, a Pikachu, and a Torkoal or a Vulpix. There are no ice moves that do the same as the blue Fupong. The Chief of Webb Village rebuilds the village after it was destroyed, but I think a helpful Machop wouldn’t hurt.
The way Sword explores dungeons is more similar to the Distortion World in Sinnoh (Platinum), so I think I’ll make that region his home, and since he lives in a small village with a nearby beach, let’s go for Pastoria City

Xion from Kingdom Hearts would have Shuppet and Klefkei. (Shuppet because some people say she's a puppet and Klefkei because she's a kick butt keyblader.) For some reason, I can't really see her having a full team of six Pokemon, though. She would be somewhere tropical like Alola or Hoenn.

Sofia the First (yeah, I watch that show. You got a problem with that?) would have Clover the Bunnelby.

The main character of my book would have:
Skitty
Sylveon
Leafeon
Umbreon
Espeon
Vaporeon

[She loves cats, and she is a weird magical creature, so I can see her being attracted to different elements.]

What about Mawile? It's the "deceiver Pokemon", and like I said in one of my other comments, I named my male Mawile Xion.

Sanshiro from Bakegyamon. In Bakegyamon, his monsters help him much the same way Pokémon help Pokémon rangers in the Pokémon ranger games, so he would have Pokémon with field moves. That doesn’t really limit it much lol. As long as he can go on an adventure, he’ll happily live in any region.


Mario will likely want mushroom Pokémon like Paras and Foongus, seeing as he has good relations with mushrooms in his own realm. There are several regions he might like: since he spend a lot of time underground, I think Sinnoh with its underground area might be fitting for him, as might Unova’s desert complete with a castle, as Hoenn with its oceans and volcano.


TMNT: I think the ninja turtles would be living in Castelia City in Unova, seeing as it’s supposedly NYC. Home away from home for the turtle boys. Michelangelo would likely get on with the cheerful and cool Squirtle Squad leader, while Donatello might enjoy the company of an intelligent and helpful Alakazam. Leonardo might appreciate a loyal Fighting type like Lucario, while Raphael might get along with a fierce one like Braviary or Primeape.


The main character from my favorite Rune Factory game (the second one), will want water Pokémon that can help him water the fields (Squirtle and Buizel would be good candidates), good fighters (maybe Lucario, Bulbasaur, Charizard and Mightyena), and Pokémon that would be skilled at sowing and harvesting, so either Pokémon with hands or psychic powers.
Since there is a game theory that there was a war in Kanto and the region of RF2 was attacked, I’m thinking Kanto would fit him. He’ll be living rurally, near a small town.

^I'm not sure if I'd like to play RF2, since you can only play as a boy. RF4 is my favourite.

Amber, one of the bachlorettes of Rune Factory 4, is sweet, loves everyone, is a nature girl, and is literally a butterfly-faery girl.

Garfield the Cat would be Snorlax. They are both lazy and love to eat.

I think the Batman villain Firefly would be Charizard. They both fly and use fire.

I also think Rocky Balboa would be Hitmonchan. Fist fighters.

I don't wanna spoil things in RF2 so I will put what I want to say in a spoiler. If you don't mind a spoiler, then please mark the apparently blank area below to read it:

A while into the game after the male character has married and had a child, he goes away (there is a story here that I'm not revealing), and you get to play as the child. You can choose whether you want the child to be a girl or a boy, so you can get to play as a girl in the game. The child remains a child though, so although the child may flirt with children of the opposite gender, there is nothing more than just that. Those other children would be the offspring of the bachelorettes you didn't pick and the rivals, by the way. One of the many things I enjoy in the game is that it introduces more than one generation.

I don't really mind playing as a boy. I just pick the character I like best (or the character with the cutest potential spouse).

Amaterasu [from Okami] would have Lucario and Lycanroc, since she's a wolf.

Ranma ½ and Akane: They would no doubt have fighting Pokémon such as Hitmonchan, Hitmonlee, Hitmontop, Lucario, Heracross, Sawk and Throh, and I can imagine them living in Kanto where they could renew the Fighting dojo in Saffron City.

I would also like to move some of the characters from the Pokémon manga, especially Ruby and Sapphire but others too, to other regions and continue reading about them. Ruby would also like the Super Contests in Sinnoh.

George of Enid Blyton’s Famous Five: I think she’d like the loyal dog Pokémon, so probably a Growlithe or a Lillipup. She lived by the sea and had her own little island, so I’m thinking she would like Hoenn with all its oceans.

Ivy and Olivia from My sister the vampire: Ivy would like a bat Pokemon, likely Zubat and its evolutions, and Olivia would want a gentle Pokemon like Lapras or Flabebe. Since the book series take place in the US, I will place them in Unova.
The twins from My brother the werewolf will also be living there, and Daniel would probably want a music loving Pokemon, and might want to participate in the Pokemon Musical in Nimbasa. Justin would probably prefer a Pokemon he could play sports with, and would be likely to enjoy the stadiums in Nimbasa as well as the Pokéathlon north of Goldenrod, Johto. Their family would be bound to have a Lycanroc.
