Can someone explain how you find the ingredients and create the serum in resident evil 7?

Afraid not, I'm watching a walkthrough over a couple nights and enjoying it immensely compared to the last two installments, a competent return to survival horror! I was gobsmacked by how f-ed up some of it is, it's not really like the zombie infested glory days but the atmosphere is somewhat restored! I remember legging it across the mansion to get the serum for the doomed Yawn stricken richard aiken!

Exactly which part are you stuck on? If you're in the Old House and find yourself stuck at a door which needs a lamp to open, then you can go into the hole you fell down just before that point and move through a tunnel to the next part. Otherwise, you'll have to be more specific :p
