I was almost ready to get a new xbox wireless controller(the one that came with my used xbox was a bit worn out and was working kind of clunkily) as well as the battery pack adapter thing you can charge while its installed in the controller rather than having to repeatedly replace batteries.

Then I saw they had wired controllers for half as expensive as the wireless controllers...I got a clear one with light settings you can adjust so it will glow different colors, one color or i think you can get it to just cycle through a couple colors. I've always liked clear controllers because I like being able to see the insides of the controller for some reason. And of course I like never having to worry about the controller dying on me. I guess the only downside I can mention is having almost tripped over the cord a couple times that is kind of annoying.

I also prefer wired mice, my main pc game is league of legends and its no good if your wireless mouse dies while your playing a match.

Does anyone else prefer wired controllers...or do you prefer wireless even with the hassle of it potentially dying while your playing.

I have an Afterglow that doubles as my PC gaming controller.

I prefer wireless. The PS4 controllers can be used wired if you connect a long mini usb cable to it. After a few years I've noticed the battery doesn't last as long.

My Logitech G305 wireless mouse can last 3 months on a single AA battery, though I use a AAA battery and foil to decrease weight. The mouse is already super lightweight and the HERO sensor has zero latency, no different than wired. I don't like wired mice as the cord itself can end up moving my mouse or dragging and decreasing accuracy.
