A new Prince of Persia game is coming out. I've lost track of how many times that series has been rebooted. I can't get into it and I wish they'd pick a canon & continuity and stick with it.
It's so hard to enjoy and follow a series that keeps getting rebooted every installment or two.
Tomb Raider is another one I have trouble with. The original series lasted until a critically panned PS2 game so they rebooted the series beginning with a remake of the first game and going on a different direction with the sequels. When the latest in that series became a failure, then they gave us the modern Tomb Raider games. All three series never received a definitive conclusion as far as I know.
