About a month ago, I decided on a whim, to play on my AV Famicom, the first Super Mario Bros. without using any of the warp zones (all 32 levels from start to finish). So I took a VHS tape, recorded myself playing the game, and then captured it onto a digital file.

This video is the end result. Enjoy.

Whoa, I love the fact that you purposely recorded it to VHS because it looks so nostalgic!

Sorry you didn't get a whole lot of response here, but I'm glad to see the video kind of blew up on YT! I've got it bookmarked, and I even subbed to your channel so I can watch it later. Thanks for sharing, this is going to really feel like a blast from the past!
