How many hours a day do you play video games?

Why do you like video games?

Which video games do you like?

What good and bad impacts has playing video games had on your life?

If you could not play video games, what else would you be doing?

What should you be doing instead of video games?

Most days I play zero hours video games.

I like video games but very rarely do I find a game that I can really get into and want to play a lot of. Last one was Elden Ring.

Most games now have gone too far into storytelling, endlessly interrupting gameplay for cutscenes and random "Press LB to wipe nose" sort of instructions.

Just give me two buttons, one to jump, one to hit and let me get on with it.

I'm old. I like games because they remind me of my teenage years when I was passionate about them but most modern games do nothing for me. Exceptions include Zelda 3d games (totk excepted), Elden Ring, Tony Hawk Skating games (I know, they're still modern to me), that's about it.

I do want to play that new Indiana Jones game though. I'll give it a go.

I actually get a bit sad that I don't enjoy games like I used to. I remember getting obsessed with them. It's hard to do that now.

I don't play modern video games, only online chess and Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup, a very old dungeon crawling game. These are free and do not require fast reflexes. I don't pay any money, ever. I like that system. With Dungeon Crawl, I can pause at any time, and I like that, too.

Good impact - I really enjoy these games. I am reasonably good at them. They allow me to escape for a bit and have pleasure and relaxation.

Bad impact - my now ex-girlfriend disapproved of such games and felt like I should be engaged in more vigorous activities (supporting her and her objectives in life). That was a difference of opinion, one of many that we had. She was highly argumentative at the best of times, it is best not to have such people in your life.

People like to say, go out and join this group or that one, socialize. I have been there and done that. What I like to do is stay at home and play my games. I am better at that, it is what I know, and what I have done all of my days on this earth, even since childhood.

Well, it's hard to say how many hours I play video games because each time is different. It all depends on the amount of work I have, some other plans, mood, etc. Usually, I can play something for an hour in the evening after work. On weekends, when I have no plans or the weather is bad, I can play more. And if I get a new game, which I like a lot, I can spend a few hours at night playing it.
I like different genres, but I like horror games, shooters, and simulators where I have to build and develop something. Also, I always try to find something new to play because there are so many games, and they can be interesting, too. So, from time to time, I read some articles or reviews of the games. Some time ago, I came across this guide, which opened the world of real money pokies. I'd never tried such games before, but that information convinced me that it could be interesting, so I decided to give it a try. I still need some more time to play more pokies, but I like them so far.
And if I don't play, I do other things, like reading, watching something, and seeing my friends. Games are good for fighting boredom.

I don't play everyday, but if I want to do a race it usually takes an hour or so of practise (more if I've never ran at that track before), 40 minutes for qualifying and 90 - 120 minutes for the actual race.

I like sim racing because it costs a lot less than trying to get involved in any sort of real life motorsport.

I play more in the winter months when the weather is crappy and I have less inclination to go out and do real things.

It's nice to have a new game to take you into winter. I'm very much looking forward to playing Kingdom Come: Deliverance II later in the year. I like knowing I have that waiting.

There's a game on mobile and switch called stardash that has beautiful gameboy styled graphics. Its got 3 buttons. One to walk left, one to walk right and one to jump. It does get more and more brutal the further you get into it. Its around 5 dollars too
