I'm not trying to be funny, honest. All I can think is WOW!

More information
To get a house, one must upgrade to WoW Midnight.
It officially opens on March 2, 2026. If one pre-purchases it, one gets early access.
I got early access, which I've never done in WoW.
About 43 players have placed houses. When one brings up the map, the house locations is shown.

One character explored the area, settled on a house. But before the character claimed it, I selected another character and claimed a different house in the area. My plan was to place the three characters I had on this server in the same area. Then I logged into my first character and... and... and... 8O Her house now costs 1000 gold. Sadness. Here is the part to make you laugh (or not). This character's name is Oncehappy. LOL I know. Sad name. I was in a funk. :)
So Oncehappy only needs 991 more gold. Ha!
By the way, It makes sense. That one must buy their homes.

Got early access too (present from sister) but only play on weekends (usually alliance / earthen ring - europe). Sister has been scouting.
Somewhat excited but lots of weekend work that needs to get done too :D

This morning, I learned that all of my characters, across servers, can share the same house. I think I might be able to buy a another house as well. No one has 1000 gold though. :D
My knee jerk reaction is to make a character on a European server, give you my character's name, get your character's name, and then if we run into each other, I would wet my pants with excitement, my character would jump around, and then I would panic and run away. LOL That's who I am. :) Seriously, I play like it is single player, but with an eye on supporting the other players with inexpensive stuff. Anyway, it would be so exciting to see someone I'm acquainted with in game, once in a while. Just like when I run into someone I use to work with at the grocery store. It is a joy to see them, but if they were to invite me to there home, I would decline.

One of my characters, HaplessJenni, has decided on a mount to ride. I think it suits her. A blue rabbit. I like the notion that the blue rabbit jumps while running, but I literally just realized that rabbit can fly.

It appears a WoW character can only have one house per account (???).
One of my characters had over 2000 gold, inherited from a defunct guild started by co-workers.
He bought a second home. The claim on the first house was automatically put up for sell.

I took a horde character, to visit the house, but the horde is not available allowed.
The horde have their own area (???), but I don't know if that means one home per account or one home per alliance, so two homes.

Same ... even log off on days people feel like socializing too much  Group stuff these days require you to study first...

Have one character that can stand it more (she had her pvp moment but also already very long ago)

I played WoW religiously for several years. Then, something inside of me just went "no". The game just started becoming repetitive. "Go here. Kill enemy. Locate item. Buy new gear. Number go up". I maxed out my level on my main in Mists of Pandaria, uninstalled the game, and that was it. A year ago, my mom tried to get me back into it for the 20th anniversary. I reinstalled it, got the latest expansion, and started playing again.

...Annnnd I ran into the exact same problem. I played for about two weeks, got my main back up to level 50, and I just couldn't do it any more. I wish I could. The lore is great, and I had good times back when I was in a fun guild. It's just... The mediocrity of the gameplay is a big turn-off.
