Guardians of Justice
Warcraft Adventures
Werewolf: The Apocalypse

Ummmm...I can't remember anymore right now. But there have been many disappointments regarding canned games in the past.

fully agreed on mother 3. i think it should have just been delayed a bit and released on the game cube instead.

star fox 2 for the snes was pretty cool.

system shock 3* would have been great if irrational had been able to hold on to the series...bioshock is a nice consolation prize, though.

f-zero 2 was cool...not sure i really missed it, though.

mario rpg 2 would have been awesome...stupid split between square and nintendo.

*ABSOLUTELY NOT the ea version of the game.

i thought i had read about them wanting to do system shock 3 but couldn't because EA bought the rights out from under them. could be wrong there. i know at least from what i see, bioshock pretty much is what system shock 3 would have been except in a different reality (very similar themes and aspects of the gameplay).

i was wrong about mario rpg 2.

was that the finished game? i thought it was basically a killed game that was thrown up on satellaview as kind of a throwaway? didn't think that could be really considered a finished product.

You can play that game if you know where to look ;)

I'm glad that one got cancelled. Though I'm interested as to how it would've looked in 3D, I much prefer the classic 32-bit 2-dimensional look.

Can't think of any cancelled games off the top of my head that I'd like to see, but I know there are a few.

I wish Sega hadn't cancelled the Dreamcast...it had so much potential, and more graphic power than the PS2. It's not a series I'm particularly fond of, but I wonder how Dreamcast would've fared had Halo been released for it in time.

Sometimes I wonder how the original Quake would've been...was originally planned to be a 2D side-scrolling RPG.

I know there's some big ones I really wanted to see, maybe I'll think of them later.

Alan Wake got cancelled? Or just a PS3 port of it did?

OH.

DUH.

FALLOUT 3.

I'm so upset that Bethesda are basically scrapping everything about Fallout and just making a post apocalyptic Elder Scrolls game =( They're not even contacting any of the original designers for input.

I was watching some of the old videos for Duke Nukem Forever, and I hope a lot of that stuff gets released someday. Especially the truck chase scene...that part looks so awesome.

Apogee are usually pretty good about releasing betas and things, hopefully they keep the tradition going ;) You know...whenever Duke 4 comes out ;)

i thought microsoft bought bungie before the first game was released (before they previewed the mac version of the game).

don't think dreamcast would have seen halo even if it had been around.

Alan Wake and Max Payne 3 weren't canned, dude. They're just not done yet.

As for Sam and Max: Feelance Police, where were you when Sam & Max: Season 1 came out? It's availible now, as are many episodes of Season 2 on gametap.

But that did remind me: FULL THROTTLE.

Ga, this one does bother me. I don't have much faith in Bethesda...they do a different kind of RPG, and it's not my style.

Speak for yourself... 1700+ hours logged on Morrowind over here, and that's before mods...

But then again, it's probably going to be ab Obliivon clone, which would just suck...
