I just bought this Wii game the other day, and was totally floored by its insanely over-the-top content - in fact, it's got so much swearing, violence and other grown-up stuff that I'm surprised it got released on the Wii at all.

For those who don't know, the game is a third-person beat-'em-up, with the player controlling a bounty hunter called Jack, who also happens to have a bionic right hand with a chainsaw in it. The graphics are in black & white, with only the enemies' blood showing in colour. And it shows a lot. A LOT.

Seriously, there are finishing moves which show you shoving your chain-fist into the gut of an enemy and splitting their torso like a banana, or bending the bad guys so far backwards that their heads are hanging between their legs. There are also minigames which require you to do stuff like use enemies' skulls as golf-balls, or throw them into a giant turbine so that they can be mashed up for your point-acquiring pleasure.

All of which sounds incredibly maladjusted, I know, but the comical way it's presented (as well as the hilariously crude commentary, which includes such choice phrases as "I like to wash my scotch down with a little more scotch", or "Those zombies are like my ex-wife - they take a beating and come back for more!") just makes the whole enterprise so much fun.

The only bad thing I'll say about it is that after just two days of playing it, my arms now ache horribly :P

I saw a review about it the other day on tv, apparently the only way it could get past ratings was to present the game in black and white, and looks like it is a realy violent game.

I think it looks good. Saw some videos of it and I guess it's the first rated M game ever!
Might as well save some money for it :D

Anyways, the game was a huge disappointment to me. It looked so promising, I thought it was going to be the next No More Heroes, but alas it's all about the shock factor. Sucky gameplay and commentary reminiscent of MTV's Celebrity Deathmatch, except without the wit. Clearly they just wanted to make an M rated Wii game just for the sake of making an M rated Wii game. Except wait, No More Heroes already did that, except they did it right! Bleh, I was so excited when the game came out, but when I actually got my hands on it I realized it was complete crap.

Lots of fun, yes. Great stress relief, and a whole lot of enjoyment in short bursts (because long sessions leave your arms aching from all the movement you have to do!). The voice acting is very funny, too.
