For Halo 2 it is a Needler held in each hand... The rapid-fire purple needles work quite well surprisingly.

But it seems in Halo 3 I can't do that duel-weild thing with two Needlers anymore, so I will have to find something else.

For Halo 2, I dual wield needlers with an energy sword in secondary. IF the enemy gets too close, I drop the left hand needler and switch the right with the sword. Then once their dead I pick up another needler.

I have to side with Roxas on this, well on campaign as that's actually my favorite combo as well. If I don't use that I usually try to get a sword plus a carbine.

Online however I like to have a battle rifle and a sword most of the time.

My friends and I have an urge to use the close combat sniper.....you shoot without the scope then hit them with the sniper.... actually its not a bad way to kill an enemy.....
