Wow, such a diverse website, video games, dating, anything and everything really. Well I have been fixated on the game Animal Crossing: City Folk for the Wii and it would be awesome if I found an aspie friend who plays as well, I have Wii Speak and have a fairly advanced vocabulary and only stutter on rare occurances. Please reply or email me :D

I beat the GameCube one (paid off my mortgage and got a statue in town, at least), and used to play the DS one a lot, but don't have the Wii one (yet?).

It really is the same old game but for the Wii, if you loved the others you will probably love this one. I love it but I didn't play the DS one only the GC one.

Never has someone this hot creeped me out so much... I've seen pedo women before, and they don't creep me out nearly as much as this commercial... I have no idea why, but it's the truth...

The worst part is, it's not her fault... it's that "game"... if you can call it such...

I received the game as a Christmas gift, and I'm starting to get into it.

I'll be happy to exchange friend codes with you as soon as I can get my wireless to work in the basement (where my Wii is located).

I don't have Wii-Speak yet, but it's something that I plan to buy on my next trip to Best Buy (probably tomorrow afternoon).

Following the point that you mentioned about your verbal skills, I also have a high vocabulary, but I struggle with vocal speed and intonation, so I may be a bit difficult to understand.

Once I get my friend code, I'll send it to you over a private message if you'd be interested.

Sounds good, ironically enough when I posted my asperger's blog on my myspace I got a response from a friend that was diagnosed with asperger's. Now I'm not entirely sure he is telling the truth because he seems fairly neurotypical and even talks very normal. I only know him through Animal Crossing, I don't want to doubt him but I do. I am not sure how to approach this dilemma, I will leave it be for now.

Oh and ToadOfSteel, I didn't see her as pedo in any way. Maybe it is just me but all of the Animal Crossing City Folk commercials have been done that way and I see them as fairly normal.

I'm not saying that she sounded like one, it's just that the tone of voice that the women in those commercials use creeps me out alot...

Did they bring back real holidays for this one?

That was the thing that bugged me the most about the DS one...they made all new fake holidays, so you never knew what date they fell on or anything like that.

Ha ha, I just realized, of course I must like Animal Crossing, I have Mr. Slider as my av

I guess I can see that but that tone is used for all of the Animal Crossing: City Folk commercials that I've seen.

If you mean "harvest day" and Jingle coming to town delivering presents on Christmas then yes.

I like the game, but I really need a bit more structure. Also, I really wanted more then one town to visit...and the voices ARE SO FREAKING ANNOYING! It's like a gibberish version of fingernails scratching on a chalkboard...ugh!

In the GC and DS versions, you could turn that off in the options. Animalese they call it...I'm assuming you can turn it off in the Wii one as well. In the DS one, you had to pick up your phone in the attic to turn it off, so maybe the Wii one is the same.

This is the first time I've ever played an Animal Crossing game and I'm enjoying City Folk. My gate is always open for those who want to hang out at my town but I don't have WiiSpeak.

Doesn't seem much different to WW. That's what put me off... I don't need 2.
