Which one is better, or do you prefer both like I do?

I think as far as the guitar part of it goes, Guitar Hero wins... but Rock Band has a FAR superior song selection, so I chose that.

Rock band, since they have the vocal parts (the first time I played rock band I scored a 98% because I'm a trained singer... the -2% came from the fact that I'm also trained to read real music as opposed to the green line that swiggles across the top of the screen...

Rock Band. It has by far the best list of songs and character creation. Get the 360 version though, not the Wii version.

I like them both, for different reasons...I think GH is a lot more fun to play by yourself, RB is kind of boring without four players. And RB's song selection out of the box is rather lame, you have to go through DLC to get any of the good songs =(

But once you've got a good selection of DLC and three friends to rock out with, RB's a lot of fun.

I didn't vote but I would say Guitar Hero, it has better drums, and is more responsive in general. Although the newest one was dissapointing, the song selection sucked, at least I have Guitar Hero Metallica to look forward too.

Rock Band. The aesthetics are much better, the song selection can't even begin to be compared and only having room for one kit, and the two essentially being uncompatible I have to go with the Rock Band kit for the selection. GH has a few awesome songs on guitar and a few songs I prefer it's system for (Our Truth for charting non-guitar parts and Ramblin Man for touch strip usage) Plus the rectangular note patterns are far easier to read.

I like them both. :) Rockband is fun to play guitar and sing at the same time.

They are both good. In my opinion.

I like Rock Band, especially with my awesome Ion Premium drum set. Plus they have lots of cool downloadable songs.

*is jealous*

I was going to order one of those, but it's just slightly too big to fit on my room. Gutted.
