Which do you think is better?

For me, even though I have both I'd say PSP since it plays more videos, and I'm more of a video fan than a video games fan.

all three of em are good in their own way but ipod touch wins

psp- is a great purchase if you intend on emulators and homebrew

ds- great for people who like rpgs and for children whose parents dont want to spend 200-400 dollars on a gaming system

ipod touch- amazing piece of hardware more powerful than the ds and relies on third party software to survive (which means anyone can make games for it) and it also plays music, video, youtube, and theirs apps specifficially for myspace and facebook, and if you jailbreak theirs a bunch of emulators you can use

I like my iPod Touch, but there's no denying the iPod Touch is a poor man's gaming platform, with no buttons, relying completely on touch screen. It also has terrible stability; its OS is worse than anything Microsoft has ever released.

Both the DS and PSP have good games for them. I decided to get the DS because there's a ton of games that I wanted on it. It also has gone past the era of gimmicky games based entirely on touchscreen gimmicks and has good games for it being released regularly, unlike the Wii, which seems to have not got past that era yet, possibly due to much higher third party support of the DS.

Additionally, it seems there's a lot more games on the DS tailored for on the go gaming, like Professor Layton, Advance Wars, and Elite Beat Agents. In comparison, most of the best games on the PSP seem to me like they are emulating their console counterparts.

I have never owned a PSP. I've owned all three versions of the Nintendo DS which were purchased new, so of course i think the DSi is the best. That's the one I currently own.

I prefer DS because PSP doesn't have any games that interest me.

Though honestly, I play my GBA more than my DS.

I own both and don't play them very much, but PSP gets my vote. Games like Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, God of War: Chains of Olympus (best hand held game in existence, IMO), Killzone: Liberation, Street Fighter Alpha III, Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection and more to come, it just trounces DS, IMO.

I stick with the PSP. Games and movies for it are simply sick. And the homebrew scene is massive. Can you use a DS as a Television remote?

Probably. I know there's programs to use it as a WinAmp remote, and another to use it to control your mouse and keyboard, but I haven't tried them.

I know there's emulators for them so I actually wouldn't be surprised.

As a DS owner, I'd say the PSP is better. I dont see many good games on the DS besides pokemon, and I dont think a system should be had for just one game series. I've only played other people's PSP systems, but of what I played, that system has better games overall. And as stated above, the home brew scene is awesome.

If the PSP Go has the exact same internal hardware as a psp slim(So I dont buy a console thats about to become obsolete), I might pick a secondhand one up, enable homebrew and replace my DS with it.
