Anyone else got this? I just bought it as it seems to have had amazing reviews and looks to be very original and innovative... I like the idea of a wolf/God as a lead character anyways... I am just interested in whether anyone else has actually tried this one out and their views...

I want it. I read the entire review for it on GameSpot.

One of the best games for the PS2.

If I had a PS2 I'd so get that game. The art style is amazing.

I don't do much console gaming these days but I just checked out the IGN review of Okami and it looks fascinating. The watercolor art-style looks awesome - I'd play it just to see that. Also the "celestial brush" mode seems pretty neat and the mythic / fantasy elements are right up my alley. I have a mostly unused PS2 so I just might have to pick this up!

I have had a play with this...the graphics are brilliant, lovely movement and gameplay... one very annoying thing though is that Issun talks all the time! So you have to keep pressing the X to wade through masses of tips and hints etc on how to do things. Other than that, it is a very interesting game.

I have it, didn't get all the way through it though. I'm like that though. Rare but not impossible to finish a game, but it has to be superb to me.

I´ve been waiting for this game, but I´m gonna play FF12 first. Unfortunately I´m out of money right now so it´s gonna take a while :(.

I love this game! Though it is kinda easy.(I didn't die ONCE in this game.) Though the side-quests can be difficult. ^^*

I'd rent it first to make sure you like it.

I really wanted to like it, but I got stuck pretty quickly in it and gave up. Traded it in at Gamestop months ago.

I finished it. The most expensive PS2 game ever made apparently. Fantastic artistic style tempered with an interesting and in some ways unique storyline. Plus that brush-combat is so cool man!

I have it. It's a decent game, although extremely overrated by critics. Taking the unique graphical style out of the equation, the game is pretty standard Zelda-style platform/RPGing. The worst thing for me about the game was how easy it was. Another thing that may turn off people is the very Japanese-oriented style of the game. It didn't bother me, but I did wish the story had been a bit more original and not so folklore-inspired.

I'd give it an 8/10, on par with Kingdom Hearts 2.
