What is your opinion regarding expensive mana bases?

Can't get enough of them!	0%	[ 0 ]
I like the options that they give you.	0%	[ 0 ]
I don't care.	14%	[ 1 ]
They're pretty annoying. People shouldn't be able to play any card they want so easily.	14%	[ 1 ]
I can't wait until Zendikar when we'll see the back of them.	14%	[ 1 ]

I'm getting fed up with all the expensive mana bases being run in Standard at the moment. It's impossible to try some of the interesting (fun or powerful) decks without having playsets of the multitude of rare, nonbasic lands.

I don't mind expensive mana bases. Just when they dominate because there's no good way to punish them.

Anathamancer helped a lot though. Notice how many 5-color decks did well at regionals or the last grand prix?
