I downloaded a torrent of this the other day (I own the game, I just haven't seen the CD in years, so don't get onto me about pirating), and I realized how fun that game still is, even though it's eleven years old. Anyone else here played this game?

I used to love this game. I keep thinking that one day I'll dig it out and play it again. (All my CDs are in alphabetical order - so I can still find it).

Did it run well on XP?

I have Vista on my laptop and I didn't have any problems at all, so that probably means it'll run perfectly on XP as well. Did you use the cheats at all? I had one file where I would play without cheats, and one where I would play with them.

Anyone who hasn't played this game: I highly recommend it. It's a very fun game that doesn't require a supercomputer just to run the minimum graphics.

A great game indeed, it worked flawlessly on my last computer (xp) I wonder if it will run on Vista 64, but I highly doubt it since more "recent" Bullfrog games like Dungeon Keeper 2 don't seem to work......... (black screen, only sounds/music when hardware acceleration is turned on) :(

I played it for a while. I really do not like RTS, but I've always enjoyed Populous (except the second game was kind of meh).
