i hate x-box live

so i have this gta iv which i got for 60€ how ever to play online i have to pay microsoft 60€/year for live account even im playing on pc will hamachi work in this game? any aditional solutions?

Is it Xbox Live or Games for Windows Live (GFWL)? The latter is considered free.

Xbox live is a good service in my opinion, but totally not worth it if you only want to play one game online. Especially if that game is GTA:IV :P

No, no, no.

Games 4 Windows Live accounts are all free. They are indeed X-box Live accounts as well, but for PC it is all free. You just sign-up and log in and play online. There is nothing at all to pay for Games 4 Windows Live.
