spore needs to come out right now. Sim earth and sim life were a pain in the ass and spore looks like it is both of those things except more and easy.

I got to see Will Wright's sneak preview of Spore at GDC this year!! !! /shameless-bragging

All I've got to say is I've never seen the jaws of several hundred game designers simultaneously hit the floor, in quite the same way as they did in that room. :lol:

Needless to say, I can't wait either.

Spore is fun but too...irritating for me to really enjoy.

^^ I must say that I too was very excited concerning Spore and followed the progress for a very long time. However, when released, although I did enjoy the happy game, I found the game very repetitive and perhaps but a collection of five simplified games. ^^ I very much enjoy the cell stage however. I believe the creators are also fun. It is but that I believe each stage is a simplification of games that belong to certain genres. Also, although the creators somewhat bind them together, the stages themselves are rather partitioned and each one is a seperate experience as opposed to once big branching experience. ^^ Sorry if I have been very horrible however.

I hate how your evolution just stops. That was the basis of the game, I was hoping we could eventually become beings of raw energy that can warp reality with a thought
