I find the double standard in America funny.

This comes from the promotion of non-sense gateway laws that are intended to allow arguments like this to make abortion become illegal. So, everytime you brink that up , the intention of the gateway laws is working.

So the definition of what's in the belly of a pregnant women is defined by who is terminating it. That's a real odd way to define something.

Hell no, it is not odd at all. The fetus is inside the pregnant woman's body and she mandates over what happens inside it. So, the only person in the world with decision power over what to do with the fetus is the woman. It makes perfect sense.

It is much like arguments about "In God We Trust" mottoes, "One Nation Under God" pledges, which are not technically mandatory, but fools will take as establishing absolute truths promulgated by the "good & their godly" government, instead of that sinister pack of federal Satanists Cults. Even recent changes to the "pledge" are taken as being ancient, since each new day to patriotic geese is all as ancient tradition.

SURE. And then we have a whole new generation of unhappy, lonely, unnecessary people. Tax well spent I say! The rest of us can live in the same jobless society where education is worth a crap and men still think that woman's place is in the kitchen.

After some time we have n billion people on the planet and happily die out altogether.

I am pro-abortion since I was a little girl. I always thought it should be up to the woman if she wanted to take the pregnancy to an end or not. Until more effective contraceptive drugs are available, it is impossible to avoid unwanted pregnancies. When I got pregnant with my child I was using contraception, but I got pregnant anyway. We are not animals. We do not have sex for reproduction purposes only. Thinking otherwise is retrograde.

I think that it does not matter if the creature being incubated is human or not. If said experiment fails, than it is one less human. People fail to realize that humans are BEYOND overpopulation. This may sound demonic, but abortion may ultimately be good in nearly all circumstances. This is basically the only form of way overdue population control, especially since hunting humans is illegal. (Not that I would participate) A creature that is not human is considered overpopulated when they impose on human activity. Has anyone stop to think we are overpopulated because we impose on ALL other animals?
