It's being made into a race thing when it would never occur to most normal people that those labels are meant to imply racism......

I just think it is funny that you go into this thread saying that it is silly because it is talking about advertising. If you don't like the subject why post? The images on containers that many of you find objectionable are not primarily there to disparage races. They are there to promote the sale of the contents of the containers. Since the impulse is not racist per se, but commercial why accuse the people who design the containers and their markings of racism?
