We are talking far back Mideast day counting. NOT 24 hour days. Fri Sat Sun = three days.

Yes I am aware that he had to be buried before the Sabbath started, but if the Romans had anything to do with the burial I doubted if they cared what day it was. If he was gone before Sunday morning that's still not three days.But I forget Bible days are
different.You can create a universe in six of them.

Indeed, and of course there is Tammuz, and more distant Persephone'. The Egyptian links are numerous and intriguing, check out the popular Egyptian novelette and compare the Joseph story.

I've noticed that left wing academics typically invent words and terms and are obsessed with using language "creatively" instead of explaining things clearly. I thought this has something to do with "situationism". They don't speak in riddles the way Philologos does though.

Psychologically I think it is a schizotypal/delusional/mentally ill trait actually, don't know if that fits :P But that kind of psychology is a bit narrowminded.

Pi is an irrational number, so it's not even exactly equal to 3.14. Rounded to the nearest one, Pi is equal to 3.

I have read all of Chrysostoms writings. I find them to be some of the least interesting of early Christian writings.

I used to be a orthodox Christian so I'll say alithos anesti for old times sake.
