I knew some whackjob on the right was gonna make a religious LGBT-Autism connection eventually. But I thank them for giving me another reason why I don't want to be cured.

Are they offering any assistance for those of us who have been living under the evil spell of Inter-gender sex?

Some form of Gay camp perhaps, were they could teach us how to appreciate and sexually enjoy people of our own gender.

I knew this damn Aspergers had made me miss out on some stuff in life, but how can I only find this out now. I was raised in a catholic school system, imagine the fun I could have had. This is exactly why we need better education for young people.

I never even got that pair of arseless chaps.. what could have been.

Ultra-conservatives and ultra-liberals spouting nonsense about things they don't understand is enough reason to stay firmly rooted in the center. Extremists believe only their way is the right way, and that anyone who disagrees with them is either stupid, evil, or both.

I could ignore both the commies and the fundies if there weren't so damned many of them!

 They do seem to deserve each other, though...

There are a lot of weirdo candidates that run that never come close to sniffing office. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson have said similar things, these Christians are crazy and the GOP would be best served trying to distance themselves from them.

"She also claims that fighting for the middle class means ridding the nation of the stock indexes including the S&P, Dow Jones and Nasdaq in order to improve the nation’s fiscal troubles".

A GOP anti-capitalist !

Well according to headlines in the UK, a councillor has announced that legalising gay marriage is the reason why the UK has been ravaged by floods lately as punishment from God. I wish such people would reach a concensus: Are gay rights causing floods or causing autism or both? :?

A better question is where do these nut jobs come from and who are the idiots who vote for them?

From the OP's disingenuous headline one is led to believe that this is the official GOP party line.

Even I don't believe that all democrats email naked pictures of themselves, have sex with interns or cheat on their dying wives.

I am amused at how regularly statements of this type appear from some quotable person or another:

" BLANK is God's punishment for BLANK "

Blaming natural disasters and epidemics on some minority is almost cliche. I find the real fun in statements of this sort are watching how the people who make them eventually sink under their own weight.

But I must admit that including neurological disorders in the diety's menu of preferred plagues seems like a new twist.

The wrath of God played out in a brains ability in retaining information and an inability to sit still or find all but selected company enjoyable! What a little sh!t!

He truly does work in mysterious ways. I'm surprised he finds time in between hiding fossils to test our faith! Little trickster! Ok, now I'm convinced Christianity is a Loki cult.

I think what scares me even more is that both parties don't seem to be making any effort in cutting away from their extremists. The more freedom they allow them, the more they begin to consume their representative parties to the point where the extremists become the Republicans and Democrats.
