I just heard something hilarious on NBC Nightly News. Laura Bush says she doesn't believe presidential spouses should be on the tax payer's dime but she cannot wait for the first ever First Man so she can talk about his clothing choices, weight, behavior, etc, in other words, scrutinize him as much as First Ladies are when their husbands are President. I thought that was funny.

Do you all think people will pay a lot of attention to the First Man? I wonder how that will play out? Will the First Man overshadow the Lady President?

I hope he will be as stylish as Jackie O,some eye candy would be nice.

Depends on who it is, if Hilary becomes president then Bill would essentially be co-president. In some bizarro world were Sarah Palin was president I guess I could imagine Todd Palin being talked about for his looks and being an outdoorsman. Marcus Bachmann would probably prefer to be called First Lady.

Nope, I think the First Man would be totally overshadowed by the lady President, and would be mentioned way less in media than first ladies - Unless he's some controversial super sexy 6-packs hunk- ever read about the First Men of presidents in other countries?

The media would deliberately ignore the First Man so us gals can't get our jollies that way, unfortunately. After many lady presidents, they would start focusing on him some and one or two might end up in a scandal. They will make a point not to, at first.

Bill was known as a horn dog.He's is suppose to have a child with another woman,maybe just a rumor.Ive seen a pic of the kid and it did look like him. There was also Gennifer Flowers and Sweet Sweet Connie from the song We're an American Band by Grand Funk.

No doubt we'll be there. Also 16 years of the same will become 24 (or 32 if we count the first time we saw Bill).

Maybe the first lady president will be a Lesbian. Which means that the First Lady will still be the First Lady.

I don't think we have to worry about the first-anything president being republican, a unanimous talking point between left and media is there's no such thing as a valid representation of any particular non-WMASP group whose right of center. Everyone seems to buy into it so there's next to no likelihood of it being Sarah Palin or Carly Fiorina.

To ArrantPariah's point I wonder if we will have future pres Hillary swapping a female intern for Bill and sending him to live with the Obamas.
