What if I am a sadist?

^more to the point a Sado-Masochist. There are no objective morals, in all the arguments I have seen no-one has provided a scintilla of evidence supporting the idea. This is why we have Laws, a Judiciary and Police. It is also why morals constantly change over time.

I don't think it matters whether one calls themselves that or not, the meaning is still clear regardless.

Really? So if I am a sadomasochist and I truly enjoy being sexually humiliated, sexual degraded, or possibly enjoy being raped, then I should do that to others? I think that plan would put me in jail.

I think a philosophy of "treat others as they'd like to be treated" is a better idea.

Not too mention that Jesus isn't even original in this teaching. He is just regurgitating what others have said before him.

Well, that's what he means by "the meaning is still clear regardless." An exception to the rule doesn't disprove a proverb.

How many of us - particularly Wrong Planeteers - have NOT noticed that if I do to Sherry those things I would like Sherry to do to me I offend, if I avoid doing to Sherry what I would hate to have done to me I cause pain?

of extreme practice and gaining real FEELING knowledge
