Makes sense, and I fail to see why people have trouble accepting it.

You can't be transracial.

People can be transgendered because the male and female brain have different chemistry. The same cannot be said, as far as I am aware, of the brains of different races.

That might not be correct.

If you develop around a specific behavioral set, your neurology will develop in such a way and you'll probably be unable to change such past a certain age.

It's why there's little treatment for autistic adults.

It's why say, a person neglected socially as a child, will develop something akin to autism.

It's why a white child raised by black parents in a black area will behave like the black people if they have a different behavior set compared to the race of the white child, and they'll always think they're black on the inside.

Whilst you might not detect specific differences via imaging scans and such, there's clearly a biological aspect to it that people can attain through experience.

Don't they have surgery to help you resolve this issue?

That's cultural, not biological. A child raised in a black environment will likely have black values, but that's not the same as actually being black. It's not "being black on the inside." And a white child with a black adoptive family will still benefit from institutional privilege based on her biological makeup.

Transracial it could be possible, whether is is congenital it would difficult to say. Someone could think they are a cat. Each to their own.

However even a transgender person say they born in the wrong gender, or don't identify with fixed gender.

This has divided the black community. Some say problem isn't choosing the identity per say, is denying where she came from and the fact that she implied that she experienced being black from birth.

Personally I think she has a personalty that believes she is black, I'm also skeptical this was always that case. On its own it is not wrong. The other people involved, since these personalities are quite rare, are probably playing along becuase they have accepted her, but they would know where she had come from.

The interesting thing with these sort of personalities historically, is they can both believe it a be complicit in the deception. They believe an alternative history of their life, but this is not necessarily related to

This is not a political observation. The problem is with that is either side of the debate kind of needs a certain reality to be true.

It is like the "born with it" debate. Why should it actually matter, and what biologically stopping both being true, if you are thinking about objectively, rather than to suit a cause?

I dont question her race. I question her sanity, and character.

She is not what one would normally describe as a "Black person"because she is entirely of European descent as far back as anyone knows.

It's weird how people are defending her with crap about how race is a social construct, etc., etc. She's a liar. She said that her father is black (he's white). didn't this come from here faking hate mail to get news attention? shouldnt' that be the bigger issue to whether she runs an organization. I mean why does it matter if the person running it is black, white, asian, etc if they are doing as the organization is attended to do. we really need to move past such race stuff.

Yes, it's exactly the same as being black; "black" is a behavior, not a specific biological construct, as black and white people can behave either way based on choice and experience. Just as gender is a behavior.

Sure, she doesn't have the genetics of a black person, but that doesn't matter at all; all that matters is how she behaves and how she thinks.

That doesn't make sense. The white child will be internally and externally persecuted if they live in a black society with a black family. It'll be worst for them in that situation, as they'll behave black but look white, and they'll suffer bullying and abuse like any minority.

Try to be a little understanding.

There's a very good reason for why she might have lied, and that's to escape abuse.

It's why any person lies to hide their true gender and other neurological differences that can be persecuted against.

The very fact that people are deriding her is evidence enough for that being a possibility.

There's two aspects to race, just as gender. There's behavior, which is mediated by external factors, and there's genetics, which mediates the physical factors, like say having black skin or a penis.

I'm not seeing her abuse anyone. All she's doing is outwardly manifesting the behavior that she feels internally, and she's probably been helping black people more than anyone deriding her. Kinda ironic that.

You speak of abuse and privilege, yet you are using abuse by denying her the right to help people by being who she feels like internally. If that's what it takes to help people, isn't that better than doing nothing? Because that's what 99.99% of people do, nothing.

The sins of our fathers shouldn't hold us back, because when it does and we're jumping over who is the most privileged and persecuted by the same and the privilege they wrought, nothing will ever be done to help the persecuted.

The environment where people have to lie to help others, is more telling of the state of things than any privilege or persecution people experience.

That's the thing people should be questioning above all.

There are individuals in Africa(black obviously) who have had their DNA tested and NONE of their ancestors ever migrated out of Africa(or even away from the Rift Valley for that matter)....they are the direct descendants of the original anatomically modern Homo Sapien Sapien

Stop comparing Rachel Dolezal to transgendered people. It's a false equivalence, for reasons I have already explained.

Modern science acknowledges that there are inherent neurological differences between genders, by which a brain can be described as "male" or "female."

No modern scientist would seriously and credibly propose that there are racial differences in the brain. There's no evidence for it. You can't cut out someone's cerebellum or hippocampus and say "this is a black hippocampus. This is a white cerebellum." This is the kind of thing a Nazi or KKK member would have us believe.
