Why? Because "whites" were conquerors like incan, aztec, japanesse, mongols, chinesse, lybian (They conquered Egypt, becoming the "Black Pharaoh"), many middle eastern nations and many other were? Because "whites" had great architecture (And I really mean "had" on that one; modern civilization architecture suck from an aesthetic point of view) like the cambodgian in Angkor Wat, arabs (again), maya, egyptian, indians and many other? Because "whites" have developed science and technology like chinesse, mesopotamian, arabs (They had a brilliant civilization in middle ages, and thus made many things), maya and many other have?
The true is that what is called the "white race" has only do one/two special things: developing the scientific method and then building the industrial revolution, the scientific method that the alt right hate so much; and it had more to do with socio-cultural circumstances that some "race superiority" or whatever and only happened during the two/three last centuries. While Mesopotamia and Egypt were building civilization, europeans still lived in small towns and villages and didn't knew how to write. While arab and chinesse were prospering with their powerful civilizations during the dark ages, european cities were left abandoned and Europe was governed by a bunch of warlords behind wooden palisades.

No, culture is everything. That's why the heir of the great scientific mind, Carl Sagan, is the incredible astrophysicist, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, a black man. Just consider how much artistic culture was created by African Americans, such as Rock 'n Roll. An American is an American is an American, and we come in all colors, and are of all ethnicities.

Don't mean to be a nitpicker, but the Holy Roman Empire was Germanic. It was just the Frankish kingdom under a new name, when Karl der Grosse (Charlemagne), whose lineage was that of the German speaking Ripuarian Franks, was named Holy Roman Emperor.
But even then, Germanic scientific culture lagged far behind that of Muslim and Chinese civilizations, until the Renaissance and Reformation eras.

Artistic achievement should never be underestimated. What do we best remember the ancient Greeks for: their science, or their arts? In many ways, it's artistic achievement that best defines a civilization, even more than those of science.

Yea Chinese civilization was so great - they invented gunpowder but did not understand what to do with it What is about achievements of Chinese civilizations - i see nothing important in Chinese civilizations. Have you ever read great Chinese authors? Do you know great Chinese painters? And maybe you are big fan of Chinese music? - great culture! Why proud members of great Chinese civilizations did not make they live more bearable - why they are sufferiing from unsanitary conditions demographic diseases and poverty why they dont want to live in their own great homeland why they want to live in West!
As for great Chinese philosophy-it is not philosophy at all . they had no philosophers but sapients.
