If you feel useless, just remember the USA took four presidents, thousands of lives, trillions of dollars and 20 years to replace the Taliban with the Taliban.
I'm actually increasingly critical of Israel after doing some less hagiographic reading on their history as a nation, but I'm still reflexively skeptical of criticism of them from the left, far too long a history of reflexive hatred and weird focus (e.g. there are far worse human rights abusers in the world but leftists only have eyes for Israel) for me to take any of it too seriously despite my own reservations.
Interesting side note on how a movement loses their collective credibility over a long period of time.

So...Israel secretly provoked its Arab neighbors to attack it...so Israel would have an excuse to beat the crap out of its neighbors in order to ...acquire territory?
Territory it wanted in order to...defend itself from its neighbors?
For more living space too. But also to pad out its size to defend itself.
Maybe.

Israel wanted more land, but that part was never very secret.

It's fair to recognize that Israel often receives more scrutiny from those types than might be considered fair, much in the same way those sorts tend to have knee-jerk NATO bad takes.
Your last point is ironic though, given how little collective credibility the blocs you appear to align yourself with possess in the eyes of people who aren't aligned with them. Pot/kettle.

1967 war: Six days that changed the Middle East
In a report on the Israeli army in January 1967, the British defence attaché in Tel Aviv assessed that "in command, training, equipment and services the Israel army is more prepared for war than ever before. Well-trained, tough, self-reliant, the Israeli soldier has a strong fighting spirit and would willingly go to war in defence of his country."
If they could fight on their own terms, Israel's generals were confident they would score an overwhelming victory. But strict military censorship kept those conclusions private.
At the same time, bloody threats poured out of Arab radio stations and on to the pages of Israeli newspapers. Only 22 years after the end of the Holocaust it was not surprising that the Arab propaganda hit home.
A doom-laden mood overcame the country. People made black jokes: "Let's meet after the war. Where? In a phone box," alluding to how many Israelis might be left.
The government stockpiled coffins; rabbis consecrated parks as emergency cemeteries; tens of thousands of pints of blood were donated.
The mood was not helped when Prime Minister Levi Eshkol made a disastrous broadcast to the nation on 28 May. He stammered and fluffed his way through it.

Would it be unfair to characterize you as being largely aligned with the populist right and/or alt-right?

I didnt say it was "the secret part". Israelies on American TV talk shows were always saying "our country is only eleven miles wide, and yet we have to defend ourselves from all of these hostile neighbors". My point was to be the Devil's advocate and suggest that wanting a slightly fatter country might not have been a totally unreasonable thing (motivated by survival and not just greed).
Extremely. I'm anti progressive and so share some common enemies with those groups, but have very little in common with them policy wise and virtually no contact save some incidental elbow rubbing on gun boards and meme sites. I do find myself in a similar position with regard to some of them as National Review did with Trump from late 2015 or so on, in that I'm not with them and in many cases actively against them, however I also don't like inaccurate and or unfair critiques of them (e.g. the Proud Boys, a "white supremacist" organization more diverse than your average leftist co-op), and so occasionally jump in to counter those inaccuracies and misconceptions when I see them. Also much like Trump, I'm particularly offended by the lies because the groups in question have many legitimately terrible qualities to criticize, so my intelligence feels insulted when people feel the need to make stuff up, its a bit of a personal tic.

Funny, because you've got a long history of walking like a duck, quacking like a duck and advocating strongly on behalf of ducks whenever you waddle in for a visit. I don't want to make unfair accusations of you being a duck, but I'm pretty sure I use your granddad's down in my comforter.
But I guess you're just too much of a galaxy brain for mere normies to comprehend your true ideology, we're just falling for the xD chess.

LOL, your ornithology sucks harder than your political theory, which was never impressive to begin with. Enlighten me; which segment of the alt right is in favor of open borders and criminal justice reform? Drug legalization and progressive income tax? A strong social safety net?
Are you trying to be the "everything I don't like is Hitler" meme on purpose, or should I feel bad for making fun of you because you're doing your best?
Nah, I'm actually very upfront with where I stand, have been for years (idiosyncratic libertarian, since you've clearly not been paying attention), the problem is that just about everyone here is seemingly incapable of imagining anyone outside of the political binary, and so they keep trying to shove me into boxes I don't really fit into, as you are doing here. Just watch what happens when I criticize Trump in sight of certain TDS suffering members here for a particularly vivid example, they literally cannot imagine someone who is against the left also being against Trump, they'll sort of glitch out and go right back to treating me like I'm a Trumpoid, they can't process it.
Also, bro, I hope you don't play poker for money, cause that thing where you deflect with sarcasm when you don't have a comeback is like a giant flashing tell, try out some new material.

Could you please provide a link to one of your posts criticizing Trump? I am curious to see the angles from which you've criticized him.
Such posts of yours are infrequent enough that some of us might have just not seen them. I, for one, don't read every single post here on WP.

Wait, which one of us is the caricature? Since when did I ever suggest the alt-right = Hitler? I recognize it's quite diverse and includes various competing schools of thought. Richard Spencer and Ron Paul supporters aren't identical in ideology, both are different from the various Bugaloo types, etc, etc.

I'm sure in theory you have all these progressive views, but at the end of the day you seem plenty willing to both align yourself with and enable terrible people who want to burn everything down in some misguided idea that it will ultimately improve things. If you seriously believe the two are reconcilable you deserve to be laughed out of any political discussion you attempt to take part in.
While on the topic of tells; you resort to talking down and acting like you've said something profound when in reality you've wasted a lot of words to say effectively nothing. This is your go-to when your card has been called.
It's shameful that people fall for your shtick instead of paying attention to the broader picture of what you actually espouse. It's basically the same ideology as any 12 year old edgelord only with a few extra decades worth of trivia to make it sound informed.
We've all been here long enough to be familiar with your act.
