Anyways, returning to topic, I don't believe the resurrection occurred, so easter means nothing to me. It's little more than a celebration of one of history's most successful frauds.

I don't think fictional beings like Osiris or YHWH or Harry Potter can be offended. :nerdy:

I wasn't really happy this Easter but I managed to pretend to be so my mom wouldn't be worried or upset. But then again I'm hardly ever happy. Especially nowadays.

They're certainly a variety of fictional being.

I barely notice it these days. I'm secular so the religious content doesn't mean anything to me, and I pretty much forget about it, and just get on with my regular life. I used to love it when I was a kid because the big people gave me tons of chocolate to pig out on, but they all got together one year and decided it was a bit of a catchpenny, and after that it was just my parents who gave me one easter egg. Then I grew a bit older and they stopped that. So there wasn't much left without the free choccie, and I started to ignore it.

I saw a few easter parades in the park when I was young. Some of it was interesting. They decked out some lorries and had people and stuff on them. But some of it was so noisy that it was scary or just annoying, so my feelings about the whole thing were mixed. And the weather was usually too cold for standing about.

I might go and see an egg rolling contest if it was done according to my liking and not all modernised and full of commercial sponsorship and ads. I quite like the idea of painting blown eggs if they're done artistically enough, but it's probably all overdone these days. I don't hate easter, I just ignore it for the most part.

I got given 3 boxes of easter eggs at work. Ate one and got food poisoning.

How dare you say Harry is fictional! after all he died for our sins to save us all and then rose from the dead.

People can offended on his behalf.
