Prefacing this with saying that I am not polytheist myself. I notice that most conservatives are majority Christian and a minority of them are Jewish, Mormon, or agnostic. Especially in North America. But, I notice that there are very few polytheistic or non-Abrahamic conservatives or right wing people if there is any at all.

Can we have a discussion and can I get possible ideas for why this tends to be the case.

They exist, even if they're not currently active here.

There's a strong tie between Norse Heathenism and white supremacy/white nationalism, even if it's also true that not every Heathen is a "volkish" chud.

Conservative and white supremacy/nationalism aren't the same thing. There are a lot of differences.

But yeah, I guess Norse counts. I'm talking about "the right" in general, from the US Republicans to UK Conservatives to the so-called European "New right" parties.

Not all conservatives are white supremacists, but find me a contemporary white supremacist who isn't also conservative.

Maybe Utah if Mormons can be considered polytheistic in their own way. I hear that they believe they will be gods in the afterlife. I think they might believe that God was only one God out of many..Dont quote me. However I do know they think they will be gods in the afterlife. I know Mormons are not traditionally considered polytheistic but still.

Quote:
Smith taught that the Father and the Son were distinct personal members of the Godhead as early as 1832; Smith's public teachings described the Father and Son as possessing distinct physical bodies, being one together with the Holy Ghost, not in material substance, but in spirit, glory, and purpose.

Mormons (and many non-Mormon theologians) consider Mormons to believe in Social trinitarianism.

Some non-Mormon Christians consider Mormons to engage in Tritheism, but that's also a fairly common allegation for some Christians to level against other Christians, at least historically. Mainstream Christianity levelled that allegation towards some heretical sects, but other heretical sects accused mainstream Christianity of it as well.

Strict monotheists often dismiss all forms of trinitarianism as tritheism. Triad gods were common in various Indo-European pagan religions.

I know of many ultraconservative non-Christians that make stereotypical conservative christians look like moderates or even progressive hippies. In fact, absolute nonviolence is one of Christianity's founding ethos. So at most, they don't accept certain social freedoms, they are just more polite and democratic about it.
