^ Yes, in the Palestine case she talked BS and is taken by Israeli narrative.

The other video I shared, she talked more of Iran and of the regime and their transition to power, with a lot of what she said about them is true (on the IRAN topic).

I didn’t watch all your video, it is too long, 1 hour - but I have seen other shorties of her regarding Israel/Palestine.

I have seen some in the comments calling her fake Muslim because she called Mahdi Prophet instead of Imam, and that she is being blasphemous; I don’t like this. Yes I recognized the mistake she did, and it is maybe a mind translation failure / a slip of the tongue that can be easily done by someone who is not devout.

But Mahdi is one of the 12 imams; in Shia doctrine tho Imams are MORE important than ALL Israelite Prophets except Mohammad (who is basically the only non-Israelite prophet in the Quran).

So knowing this, you can easily see why a non-devout Shia may equate Imam to a Prophet in mind - that’s not a proof that she is a fake Muslim or some sort of Mossad Agent.

Sunna on the other hand don’t have a such concept.
So from Sunna perspective, calling Mahdi a Prophet is elevating his status too much.
While from Shia perspective, she actually lowered his status.

Shias are somehow similar to Catholics in a sense, Saints ranked above Prophets?

The video addresses her views on Iran as well.

Overall, she strikes me as someone who is largely saying what is most profitable/beneficial for her personally. That seems to be reflected in the way her stance on some of these issues has changed over the past year or two.

^ They intentionally confuse between Arabs from Arabia and Arabic speaking peoples (which also defined as Arabs); Arabs is a linguistic group; like the Hispanics...some Hispanic are descendents of Spanish, others are descendents of Maya and Aztecs...etc.

Though, ironically the pan-Arabism movement contributed in downsplaying the many non-Arabian roots of the Arabic-speaking peoples.

Btw, I don’t agree with the guy’s claim that “Hezbollah is not a proxy of Iran” - claiming that saying so is a western propaganda.

Yes, Iran is not the source of all troubles in the ME; but claiming that Iran has no almost total control over these groups… come on. Lebanon was dragged to war multiple times by one of them because of this.

While he wouldn’t define it strictly as a proxy, I don’t think he’s claiming that Iran isn’t involved with/backing Hezbollah. He was just pushing back at narratives that seem to be about pushing a specific agenda, such as Zionism, and that largely overlook other sociopolitical and historical contexts.
