I don’t deny that there are some Democrats who are racists—especially those who advocate for them to be “kept down” through dependence on social services. And the old-fashioned sort, too.

Trump and some of his minions bring racism to a whole new level, though.

I seriously doubt any modern Democrat genuinely wishes to keep blacks and other minorities down through dependence on social services. This is just right-wing objectivist sophistry meant to confuse minority voters into believing that Democrats are actually their enemies. Luckily the minorities are not stupid enough to fall for it.

There may be some liberals who subconsciously suspect non-whites are less capable of financial independence and assume they will always depend on government aid. But even they aren't trying to keep them down by this means. Being on welfare sucks and nobody wakes up in the morning hoping to remain on it forever.

I have no reason to believe that Biden is more racist than any other white person. Certainly no more so than Bernie Sanders. A big part of why Biden is nominee is because of support from traditional black Democrats (the ones who usually vote). If Biden were a racist they'd know and would have supported someone else.

Fortunately, the Dixiecrats went away with the 60s.

I agree that Biden is not especially racist.

Not well know apparently but thE South was considered democratic during the US civil war. Just saying .
Am not particularly fond of either of the choices , but I do know Trump made a serious enemy of the media
During the previous election and it showed in their reporting on him during the previous election .
Would not be surprised if the media reporting would be very biased during this election.
So one might consider their sources of information , whether might possibly be biased too .
This election seems to be becoming very divisive of the American people and appears the media is stoking the fires .




Personally wish , we had a third choice for Presidency .
