Sure does seem that way to me. I hope this video compilation is one of many pieces of evidence reviewed by the senate during his second impeachment trial. I also hope they call a lot of witnesses, including those who were inside the White House witnessing trump’s delightful reaction to the chaos he incited.

I hope they do not have to put a muzzle on Mr. Trump to keep him from disrupting proceedings; but if he does disrupt proceedings, I also hope they will have a muzzle large enough and strong enough to keep his mouth shut.

Would love to see him overrule his lawyers and attempt to testify in his own defense and completely melt down implicating himself and his accomplices left and right. This scenario would not shock me.

I hope the trial goes on long enough with enough witnesses called and info made public to drag trump’s name through the mud so bad that no mega donor wants anything to do with him and lets their pawns in government know that their campaign contributions are in peril if they don’t convict him for his crimes. I sincerely HOPE that doing business with him has become that toxic and that THAT will finally see him face consequences for his actions.

It’s pretty obvious Trump, Giuliani, et al incited the crowd to storm the Capitol.

Which is why it’s disturbing that 45 republican senators voted to toss out the impeachment case.

It’ll still proceed, but wtf?

What will mean much more—is if Trump is indicted by a NY grand jury for tax fraud.

Maybe. Same could be said for incitement if violence charges form the AG of DC. However, these only mean more if trump ends up in prison until he dies. Otherwise he’ll need the impeachment conviction to strip him from being able to run for public office again.

Incitement to violence is only a misdemeanor in DC.

Better if he’s indicted for federal Seditious Conspiracy. He didn’t pardon himself.

Whichever crime doesn’t matter to me so long as he ends up in jail and can’t run for president again. 8)

It's interesting that they cut Trump's speech off at, "Were going to walk down to the Capitol..." and then cut to comments from the crowd.

I'll have to find the whole video and make up my mind for myself. I'm sure as hell don't trust HuffPo to inform me on political issues.

Gosh! I know that's a radical idea, researching a story. What's wrong with me?

I'm ok with him talking, if only because his mouth may implicate him.

He blabbed for hours. The purpose of the video edit is to show the crowd’s response to his rhetoric. trumps speech followed by their violence in response to it is pretty clear incitement of violence to me.

You may be right. I'll look for the rest of the speech. I don't trust anyone's opinion. I'm funny that way.

And not Just his speech, either. All his lies about the election being stolen and inviting “patriots,” to come to DC and “stop the steal,” and “fight for their president,” and “take their country back.” All that crap, too.

More proof, please. I don't trust this video.
If you'll do more research, you'll realize it was the blm/antifa people who caused the trouble, not Trump supporters. And President Trump (no, I don't accept Biden as the president) most certainly did not incite anyone to do this.
