In Europe we've got a huge problem with the crime and costs that follow immigration, but I don't feel we've really got any problem with the religion Islam. The ones responsible for the "hate laws" we've got here not that are limiting our freedom of speech are Jews, not Muslims. Kind of funny seeing an American bring the matter up though when US foreign policy has recently been hi-jacked into committing senseless aggression on the Muslim world, with higher oil prices, extreme military expenses and the deaths of American soldiers following in its wake - nothing that's in the national interest.

E2A: im not being passive-racist. I do actually like these structures, although the temple does grate on the eyes a bit imo. nicer to focus on the detail in microcosm.

For the Ignorant Americans who were not taught these things in school - do some learning now, look up the truth about your nations military history from non American sources, see how another filter spins it, then ask yourself,

- who has caused more death through warfare?
- who has made the most profits from warfare?
- who has destabilised more governments and invades more countries?

Your swearing is not the issue. The issue (for me) with your anger is that you make frequent inferences to "us" blowing our brains out. If you want to cuss fine. I'm all for expressive use of language, but you are giving in to your anger and frustration enough to make all inclusive statements and pander to violence. If you want to call a monster a monster why don't you look in the mirror and admit that you want to be the one to pull the trigger with one of us on the other end. I'm sure it would make you feel better.

As far as the three questions your proposed; I already know the answer to that. US, the United States. Absolutely (at least within the last 60 years.) You forgot the submersion of other cultures with our products and commerce by the way. We don't need guns to take over any more. Whether you believe it or not, it makes me sick. When they flew those planes into the World Trade Center, I was the only American I knew standing there saying "What do you expect? It was our own fault." In the middle east we help put glorified war lords in place to suit our own ends short term, kill their citizens with little or no provocation, and steal their resources. All across the world we over take economies, resources, media and culture. I hate it. I vote. I debate to the point that I have put myself at physical risk from militants in my area. I try. You will hate me because I may not agree with what these militants and fundamentalists say but I will respect and defend their right to say it. I have to say, I take some offense at the suggestion that Americans are all alike, especially that we're all like the ones that make the news. In fact, the vast majority of us are nothing like the ones that make the news.
