BTW, I picked Sikhism as my non-choice so I could view the poll results. I already am fairly sure about which one shall get the highest percentage on WP.

It says "not" and it hasn't changed. I guess it is a small word though, should've capitalized it.

I can only tell you from what I personally know about Judaism, Islam, and Christianity, so I'd just be wikiing the rest. If you have no personal bias, pick "other".

I like Star Trek, therefore it is real? I believe some short people may have pointy ears, but it isn't because I like them or not. I don't want this to be a debate thread, but it just nagged me to hear that.

Atheism, because I think it has no hope, but Wicca was also down there with it.

I voted for Islam, but I would prefer none of them.

I choose Other - I don't think I'd want to pick Satanism. After all, Satan is an established figure in both Christian and Islamic theology, in which he has a defined role - why would I want to sign up with the losing side?

So what's wrong with Sikhs, anyway?

Scientology. Most people don't think it's a real religion, but most people don't think atheism is a religion either.

So, parakeet-man, the initial results probably are not what you had expected. Islam has taken a beating, and Judaism doesn't seem too popular, nor does atheism/humanism. "Other" leading substantially right now.

Should have picked other, but basically:

Sikhism has these:

A: God is the Creator.
B: God is the Universe.
The Creator is the Universe?

Perhaps in the philosophy that falls out of Darwinism everything creates itself, but I view God as eternal and self-existent Creator who is not a component of the Creation. Creation is dependent on Him, and thus cannot be Him.

maybe i never read enough of it but i never took satanism as being theistic but i know there are such morons. the references they make tot he devil, as best as i saw it within the context of the literature, was used as more of a metaphical character...the skepticism, the freedom from judeo-christian religious oppression...but not as a literal "we worship the devil cause god sucks!" interpretation. i like some of the satanic philosophy and i think their disdain for ignorance and apathy is revolutionary within the realm of religions. in fact, they're the only religion i can think of that makes ignorance a direct sin. but like i said earlier, i haven't read all of the satanic bible yet...some of it is too gothy/melodramatic and makes me just go 'psh...yeah, sure.'
