A "person" that would murder a four year old out of some perverse sense of national pride is about as vile a creature a beast can be.

The goal of this thread is not to defend your Israel.

your thought process is too complex for some and so they break it down into black and white views because they can't think in color.

thought process: saying something against israel means you support terrorists. saying something against terrorists means you support israel and the USA's The War Against Terrorism (TWAT for short).

i'm against the USA's TWAT, myself, but i also don't condone terrorist acts...but at the same time, i can more understand how such actions can come about (think of terrorism as a symptom rather than the problem and you might actually start to comprehend things better).

Does not compute. Name a case similar to Sammy the Kunt.

Y'know, "Buddy Christ" is not so blasphemous now that I think about it. :) I draw the line at anything mean-spirited, vulgar, or insulting. Anyway, about this child-killer of Hezbollah ... he has no honour. I wonder if the rest of the Hezbollah people look on what he did with pride or disgust.

Never underestimate man's capacity for evil.

A medieval barbarian like Kontar should be put down like we'd put down a rabid animal, and even then he wouldn't be worth the bullet it would take to kill him. That he has fan is particularly disturbing.

i thought it was a great commentary on the image and portrayal of jesus within christianity.

i don't think it's blasphemous even within the confines of christianity. a positive portrayal is never bad.

i'd rather that over

Agreed.

Yeah, that is pretty. The dimensions are alarming. It's the kind of thing that would've scared me half to death as a kid. What is that, marble? Plaster? The above likeness is not negative or disrespectful per se, it's just weird. Definitely uncoventional. What I don't like is people who take a little too much artistic license when depicting our Saviour. Let's hope no one goes for the the Picasso or Salvadore Dali style.

Imagine that, the Last Supper by Salvadore Dali. 8O

i think it's what you christians would classify as idolatry. it's excessive money being used to create a massive representation of some artists' rendition of a generic human that's supposed to be jesus.

Idolatry? Maybe. But it would be in bad taste. I've noticed how you take eveyr opportunity to put distance between you and me. Are we really so different?

obviously it doesn't compute with you. it's why you have the position you do.

maybe you'll get it someday.

Whatever. By failing to say something of substance, you proved my point.

because you already believe israel is undeniably right and no number of sources, stories, or history will change you view on that. you essentially show yourself to judge the palestinian people all as below you and the political zionists and that their lives are to be thrown away without care.

you won't get it because you don't want to. so why should i bother?

Let me rephrase what you just said, but in better words:
"because you already believe israel is undeniably wrong and no number of sources, stories, or history will change you view on that. you essentially show yourself to judge Israelis as below you and the Arabs and that their lives are to be thrown away without care.

you won't get it because you don't want to. so why should i bother?"

Turnabout is fair play. Questions?
