I would largely agree, and think it's funny how often people fall for trolling based marketing schemes, but have to point out the exception of the Dixie Chicks, who made the mistake of crossing their own fan base and paid the price.

But THEY think they should. I don't like the way that they are making Trump into the enemy. I do think the media does have the ability to brainwash people. And I don't care what anyone says, the media is mostly Leftist. All they have to do is keep repeating things (true or not) and people start to believe it. A lot of stories are untrue and the media needs to be held responsible for it - that is why Trump started the Fake News movement.
yeah, it is a bit spooky what brzezinski said about the media's role, and it isn't trumps role either.
rarely do the viewpoints promoted by big corporate media accurately reflect that of the population as a whole, but rather those of the elites who run it, it seems.
those at the helm of big media empires like CNN, etc might do good to at least realize the influence they have over people, but it's ultimately up to individuals to learn not to take things at face value, to compare sources, come to their own conclusions.
i still have hope in smaller, local media, though my our own local newspaper has been under fire recently for bad management and "political incorrectness". but newspapers in general are all on the way out anyway.
