Isn't National Defense a responsibility of the Federal Government as stated in the Constitution of the United States...
If you were really a judge Pandabear like you claimed in the past, you would know that that responsibility is stated in the pre-amble (they called it common defense, before you try to split hairs).

And, those employed to carry out the government's missions (whether defense or something else) should not take their jobs for granted, whether civil servants or contractors. Not so long ago, people looked down their noses at government work. Now, people who have government jobs are indeed fortunate.
If a contractor is using government money to pay someone to insult the president and disseminate extreme right-wing garbage on the internet--well, you would expect that from Halliburton, but it is still an outrage.
