No. Count the attacks against Jews, (not only in Israel) perpetrated by Jihadis. And take their propaganda seriously. The world failed to take Mein Kampf seriously and they paid dearly for that.

Jihadis dislike christians as well so I wouldnt take it so personally.

The west only started having problems with the islamic world after the british mandate. I don't think thats a coiincidence.

We wouldn't be having so many problems with them if we didnt have a stake in their lands. I dont see Jihadi attacks against buddhists, atheists, shintos or hindus. Why not, they're also 'unbelievers' aren't they?

Most muslims, including Palestinians, just want autonomy and their homelands back and a dignified existance. I don't think thats an unreasonable demand. Palestine needs leaders again like Yasser Arafat, who held out the olive branch in spite of Hamas and their kin.

Who also wanted to see Israel wiped from the map.

That's the entire problem right there - Israel is fighting for its very right to exist. Any serious discussion on Palestinian state must recognise the right of the State of Israel to exist and to defend itself. This is non-negotiable. Without that, there can never be any peace or negotiation.

thomas81 wrote:
Israel's current route of aggression is pushing ordinary Palestinians away from supporting moderation.

If I am smaller than you and punch you (and hide behind my family whilst I do it) and call for you to be wiped out, are you entitled to defend yourself and return fire, even if you end up hurting my family in the process because I have deliberately chosen to hide behind them.

The situation is intolerable for Israelis living in Israeli towns and it's equally, if not more, intolerable for peaceful Gazans that don't support war. Israel only attacks when it is attacked itself - unfortunately, it's always the little people (who do not support terrorists or violence) on both sides that suffer.

The problematic facet within Gaza is an Islamist terrorist organisation that cares nothing for Gazans, Palestinians, or anything else but violent, jihadist, fundamentalist Islam. It's the worst of all possible outcomes for Gazans - they end up locked in a stupid, insane unwinnable war of annihilation against the Jewish state and their people live in squalor, hate and death. When Israel defends itself, the terrorist organisations see it as a propaganda victory when small children end up being killed in the process (but equally couldn't care less that far, far, far more people are being killed in Muslim countries by Muslims). It's pathetic manipulation and I'm amazed that as many people fall for it as they do (even going so far as to use photos of children hurt in the fighting in Syria on pro-Palestinain propaganda leaflets, or to misrepresent Israeli children killed by Hamas as Palestinian children killed by Israel in pro-Palestinian propaganda leaflets).

Jews and Israel are not going anywhere. Israel has offered the Palestinians a two-state solution since its founding in the late 1940s. Every single time, the Palestinians have rejected peace and simply gone to war with Israel, thinking that if they keep things going, they can get rid of Israel. It's not going to happen. They need to face facts and negotiate a genuine, long-lasting peace with them.

If there is to be a two-state solution, the same terms for Palestinians must work for the Israelis. That means no ethnic cleansing of Jews from the territories and no cleansing of Arabs from Israel.

So that the children have a chance to grow up and then brainwashed to become more terrorists? That is dumb.

Yeah, just kill 'em now! Gotta take those extra precautions to ensure the security of Israel in the future, right? Wait, how about Israel try and reduce the amount of bombing it does? Or stop it all together? Out of the question you say? Well damn, alright.

Israel is far more technologically advanced in the realm of weaponry (we (the U.S.) did pay for them, by the way) and actually has a decent EWS (Early Warning System). Palestine has neither (sure, they have rockets, but nothing nearly as advanced as Israel). More Palestinian civilians are being killed than Israelis, yet Israel claims to be the victim, regardless of the incidents in which they started the conflicts.

It seems to me what you're saying is that if someone attempts murder, but is unsuccessful, then somehow they are not as bad as someone who attempts murder and is successful. In a very perverse way, such thinking rewards incompetence or in this case lack of sophisticated weaponry.

If someone made repeated attempts to kill your loved ones, but was successful in doing so only somewhat infrequently, would you continue to let them try and do nothing about it?

As for Israel being the victims, its very plain to see that they are. The Palestinians consistently attempt to kill Israeli civilians, deliberately targeting them. Israel has sought only to destroy the means by which the Palestinians have been doing this - rocket depots, rocket launchers, weapons smuggling tunnels, etc. The Palestinians intentionally place these things near civilians, and when civilians inevitably die in Israeli strikes, people are suckered in to blaming the Israeli's and sympathizing with the Palestinians. Its absurd.

If you don't see jihadi attacks against other groups, then you obviously don't know what happens between muslims and hindus in India. Or do you?

At the moment Israel are the ones using language such as "wipe them" in regards to others.

The only way Palestinians will ever get a state of their own is if they lay down their weapons and end their campaign of violence. If only they took the moral high ground then Israel would have no option but the negotiating table and far fewer people would have to die on both sides. Far too many people in Gaza(Hamas) and the Middle East in general have their minds stuck 800 years in the past(in more ways than one) with the idea that they can simply push the 'crusaders' out by force. Israel obviously has the upper hand in the conflict and will not be defeated, there is no incentive to negotiate peace with terrorists.

One Israeli said it. By the way there is a Peace Movement in Israel - Shalom Achshav (Peace Now). Are you tarring them with your anti-semite brush too.

Most of the things you proclaim about palestines as a whole only apply to the speech of single people.

Either you consider all Palestines in your judgments or let people omit some Israelis in theirs.

This image confirms my claims that monsters and terrorists exist in both sides. I hope that's what you intended to prove.

I guess your argument is that a disorganized group that kills 1444 children is worse than an organized group that kills "only" 124 . While mine is that both groups are horribly monstrous and wrong.

Actually, im fairly sure its the other way around. Its more a badly articulated image on the part of the person who made it.

I think its supposed to read to the effect of "1444 Palestinian children killed, 124 Israeli children killed".

EDIT: Yep this confirms it

Yes, different political semantics. This is to do with the Pakistan-India dispute over Kashmir. I suspect it was aimed more at the Indian state than Hinduism specifically.

Either way you will have to do better than one isolated incident to convince me.

Im not seeing Kenyan hindus being targeted by jihadis.
