Yes, the trend line shows warming.

PS: at least think about the one piece of evidence that you gave (the graph). If you use your intellect rather than your intuition, you will know that it is evidence of global warming.
Once again, why can't you give us any evidence that disproves global warming? I have given evidence from NOAA, NASA, American Meteorological Society....
Your devotion to your intuition proves nothing.

Yes, the trend line shows warming.

Now I am confused.
You said,
1. NOAA was not lying when it said that the world is continuing to get warmer and is actually breaking records.
2. The graph you gave shows that the world is getting warmer.
How does 1and 2 lead you to the conclusion that the world is getting cooler?

You have to adjust the trend line in accordance with the radical shift in 1998 to get a true picture of the current situation.

Image

As you can see, the cooling trend is rather steep and dramatic.

Scroll back, 1998 was an anomily.

In other words, to claim that the earth is not warming is like claiming that summer does not exist because there was a cold day on July 14. 1998 was an anomaly like a cold day on July 14. However, since 1998 we have continued to warm up.

NASA

Note that the graphs show continued warming.

NOAA
?This makes August 2014 the warmest August on record for the globe since records began in 1880, beating the previous record set in 1998. Nine of the 10 warmest Augusts on record have occurred during the 21st century. Additionally, August 2014 marked the 38th consecutive August with a temperature above the 20th century average. ?
The first eight months of 2014 (January?August) were the third warmest such period on record across the world's land and ocean surfaces, with an average temperature that was 0.68°C (1.22°F) above the 20th century average of 57.3°F (14.0°C). If 2014 maintains this temperature departure from average for the remainder of the year, it will be the warmest year on record.

Anyway, I am tired of doing people?s homework.
I have provided the evidence that EVERY scientific organization confirms that AGW is real.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific ... ate_change
Yes, that is wiki. However, they provide links to the scientific organizations that prove that they confirm AGW.
To say that the entire scientific community?s data is wrong is to accuse them of lying. I think that if EVERY scientific organization in the world is lying, there would be no legitimate scientific data and therefore no evidence that the world is not warming. However, it is conspiracy nonsense to believe that every scientific organization in the world is falsifying data. Next topic, is Elvis still alive?

There, you do not have to scroll back.

If the current cooling trend continues we will reach a new ice age within the end of the century.

Ummm, why doesnt the trend line intersect with the data at the far right? Please supply a link to this graph. Did you get it from Rush Limbaugh, Glen Beck?

Keep chanting! I prefer science. NO scientific organization in the world agrees with you. Your intuition may say the world is getting cooler but I prefer the entire world's scientific community.

Except no. It spiked in 1998 and then went back to its less dramatic upward climb.

Other people have posted illustrating number series so I will too.

2 3 4 5 1000 6 7 8

That is an exaggerated illustration of what happened.... a slow and steady climb interrupted by a high spike that went back down to a slow and steady climb.

Did you put that red line in? The real trend line (in blue) is still there.

So basically your argument is that there is no global warming because it got really hot in 1998!

I'm pretty convinced the guy is having a joke. That trendline :lmao:

The big problem with the graph posted - aside from it showing the opposite of what is claimed - is that is excludes the poles, which are the areas warming fastest.

So if on July 4, it got to be 90 degrees f and then on July 5, it was 75...on July 6 it was 80 you would say that the summer will continue to get cooler because 90 is hotter than 80?
Would you claim that because July 4 was so hot, that means that there is no warming trend when one approachs summer?
Your logic about 1998 and global warming is as silly.

I am beginning to believe that also. His signature Obama 2016! I thought he was being sarcastic about supporting Obama in 2016 because Obama cannot run again and because I assumed he is an anti-science right winger, but now I do not know for sure.
Maybe he is a pro AGW, pro Obama guy and pretending to be anti-AGW. He then gives absurd and ridiculous arguments to make the anti-AGW cult look silly.
Who knows?
