Maybe name names and state what actually scares you instead of throwing around innuendo

I meant that the word "baseless" has a meaning, and you should learn that meaning before throwing it around.

Now your turn smarty, name names and what concerns you. Google those billionaires real quick and get back to me.

I decline

Then I have no interest further discussing strawmen with you. It is baseless when you don't even know who you are talking about.

I saw that you kept quoting me, but mostly you didn't address anything that I actually said, so no great loss.

I have no problem with regulation of some kind, but there is so much over-regulation. Well democratic party doesn't do a very good job of representing a lot of liberals, hell liberals wanted bernie and the democratic party worked against him in favor of Hillary. Also the EPA was bad enough, but I don't think the new direction it will be going in is an improvement....sounds like there will simply be no government focus on environment whatsoever now, no regulations or oversight.

Also if we were to compare birds and animals killed by oil spills vs birds killed by wind power what number is higher? Though I admit am rather skeptical of wind power being a direct cause in death of birds so a source would help...also is there any way to make wind power safer for birds if that is a major problem with it.

Oh my god, people of this thread, listen to yourselves! You're basically falling into the same group polarization mistakes as many in history have done. I swear, if I didn't have homework that I should really be doing instead of trying to change an interne echo chamber, I'd swap out a few words in each post, it'd probably sound exactly like conversations between Dems and GOPers in the 1968 protests, or in the lead-up to the Italian years of lead, or between ex-Nazi Germans and the Red Army Faction.

Well right but... Trump really is Hitler and he really has come to ban gay rights, women's rights to their own bodies, medical marijuana, make us a Dominionist Christian nation, and he'll be resurrecting apartheid, overturning the constitution, and instituting the Code of Hammurabi some time around the middle of next week.

Check your privilege!

 :jester:

"Check my privilege"? Are you screwing with me? What is with you all, are you all so delusional that you don't think "Hey maybe this guy isn't a rich liberal a**hole"? I'm not rich, I'm not, screw it, I tried, to be a dissenting voice here but it's absolutely clear I'm not welcome. I could say "Hey, maybe Trump's cabinet doesn't have the best interests of working people in mind" and you'd all still say I've got no proof, that I'm nothing but an "over the top leftist childish protester."

I never said I liked oil. I just don't believe it's contributing to global warming(to a large degree) and all the effort and taxes used to "fight" global warming, only has the ability to lower global temperatures by 0.0023F; which does nothing. I DO want gas phased out because of carcinogens and it's hormone disruption abilities.

After the election republicans quickly forgot how many of their own hated Trump and didn't want him in office.

Was also interesting how many of them threw their favored anti-Trump politicians like Paul Ryan under the bus and jumped on the Trump bandwagon.

Paul Ryan is a tyrant.

Getting back to the title of the thread, exactly how much hatred (fear) and anger is appropriate at this point?

Not releasing the tax returns, and claiming most Americans don't care is just the latest offence. They care, and he repeatedly said that he would release them, and lots of people are saying that if there is a Russian connection it will be hard to hide in those documents.

I think this is exactly what he is hiding - that he owes money to the Russians. It's the only thing that explains his behaviour towards them.

Do you file taxes? Where would it show if he had any dealings with Russia?

There are tax experts who can answer that. It's a great example of what I mentioned in a post just a minute ago. I'm going to find and link to a bunch of IRS publications, you'll read them carefully, and then we'll have a reasoned discussion about whether it would be possible to hide stuff in theory? I'll pass, since that's not the way it would happen and you know it.

We can't fall for this gaslighting anymore, people. Just keep asking the simple question like Chuck did, and they will flail pathetically like Kelly did. I believe that most Trump voters have some shame, and as reluctant as we are to use it as a tool it is justified, appropriate, and a feasible way out.

You don't need to be a tax expert, just somebody that knows what a tax return is. A tax return will not show you much, it will show you how much the person declared in income in whatever given year and the deductions they made but it's not going to show you any outstanding debts/loans, his total net worth, or specific business dealings. The FBI investigated Trump for any personal connections to Russia and they found none. So what are you looking for in tax returns?

So we're trusting the FBI now? It's hard to keep track.

Thank you. I assumed that you didn't know the difference between the 1040-EZ and the 1040-X, and you just proved it. Have you ever filed a Schedule C, even? It doesn't seem likely, unless your deliberately obfuscating.

Oh, you're deliberately obfuscating, right?
