I've never tasted him. I don't know if I hate him or not.

This primary feeling I'm seeing, and share myself; that it is a rape joke. Particularly because he has made similar remarks in the past; AOC was one of the recipients. I believe the guy in the video funeralxempire posted, mentioned it. Then there was an sexual harassment accusation in the past that I believe was 'settled' with money(who knows if there have been others no one heard about b/c he threw money at the problem). And then more recently his posts slandering Kahlif, that fed into that s**t storm. Being autistic and not getting it, is the smallest part of his problem.

Ultimately its no different than the orange abomination's 'locker room talk'. Not funny, just disgusting. Just because Elon isn't as bad as Trump, doesn't mean he isn't a misogynist. Trump in many things is an example of the overt and extreme. Using him as a baseline, minimizes over the everyday misogynistic behaviors/comments that women face. It's all bad, regardless of the degree.

Again not defending Musk, I am not sure he has ever been openly misogynistic toward women in the same way as trump. His ex-wife, performer Grimes is fairly left leaning and feminist. So it would be strange for him to have these views and marry somebody like her.

You're right that he hasn't been convicted like Trump and has not been as outspoken about it. He does however have a very problematic behaviour towards women employees. Which they have published text conversations of. In a manner of sexual exploitation. Might be the issue Alterity speak of.

Regarding Grimes and her convictions. That doesn't tell me much at all about Elon. It might just have been the reason for the divorce, I don't know. I prefer not to speculate. I agree it would be strange of him. At the same time, he has displayed many strange (poor/bad) behaviours over the years.

I would be careful using Trump as a measurement for whether actions and the amount of them are good/bad. I'm not saying you are doing that.
I agree fully with Alterity's point.

His vile comments to her and other women, are explained due to the fact that he is disgusting.

Maybe he just wants to create a new "champion breed" of human!

Combine her talent and good looks with his...his....his...hmmmm...his dumb luck of having rich parents who got rich by exploiting apartheid!.

Fair enough, but my point is that there are degrees of of this scale of measurement and trump scores > Musk on the all the ones relating to racism, misogyny and corruption.

But as others have already stated, it's irrelevant whether Trump is even worse than Musk. Trump is worse than many, but that doesn't make other misogynists any better.

trump is a leech who was born with money and has bled common folk whether it be his shonky investment schemes, his real estate ventures or his failed university on his road to becoming rich. He has contributed nothing to humanity.

Elon has at least contributed to advancing mankind, whether it be promoting Nicola tesla's research, his electric cars, power storage batteries, neural chips or his SpaceX ventures. Even if his ventures amount to nothing, he has laid the ground for inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.

I think Musk has a faulty frontal lobe which makes him impulsive so gravitates toward people who shoot their mouth off. He also grew up with a racist father (like trump) who probably fed him ideas about black people which he has internalised.

I didn't use to hate Elon Musk, but lately I have been thinking that he's been stepping over the line. He may be autistic but he's also clearly an idiot.

^^^ this is where I am angling. My daughter says things impulsively to people which makes them hate her guts. I know she does not mean a lot of things she says, and she knows it too. I think its a little like the compulsion people with tourettes have. I am by no means excusing Elon but I kind of understand there may be some challenges he has, its not helped by his knowledge that he is no longer accountable for the consequences of his mouth. But eventually it will catch up when it his finances take a hit the way it happened to Kanye West who lost a billion dollars when he started becoming a trump fan and saying things that lost him business partners. Elon similarly is walking tightrope but he's a little smarter > Kanye and covers his financial risks. But I am not sure how long he can keep creating enemies.

Musk plans on launching forty-two THOUSAND low-orbit Starlink satellites - the 6,000-odd currently in orbit are already causing problems with visual and radio imaging.
[BBC News] Musk's satellites 'blocking' view of the universe

The whole Starlink idea is idiotic - I posted a good analysis of just how idiotic earlier -

I got so excited when I first saw starlink moving like a centipede in the night sky. I was walking my dog and rushed to a house who were having a BBQ, I said "hey guys" check that out. One of the blokes looked at me and said "get of my property you fu**wit. Well thanks Elon, you broke the hearts of many UFO buffs.
