Just a question: Is "shove their religion down our throats" a copyrighted phrase or something? I read it about 5 times per day on Wrong Planet. Unbelievers are using it like they've registered it as their official trademark. Calmly answering questions about my religion when asked is just that -- an exchange of information during which both parties are willing, both the questioners and the answerer.

And how oft are we called hypocrites?

They disgusted me and I had to enlighten them on how stupid they were(anorexia, furfaggery, gaia, you wouldn't know the difference if I was trolling or not.).
Thing is, you used to be quite rational and nice to people on WP, but oh no, you turned nasty. Remember the "christians are gay" thread? Yes, that offended alot of Christians, not just aimed at a particular person. You used the word "gay" as a derogratory remark. Whos' miss hypocrite and drama queen? You say that you're proud to be gay, yet you use the word to offend others! You show no respect for religious beliefs, yet you claim to respect a few Christians on here. But I doubt that they feel the same way when you're calling religion bullcrap.

Surely you do not stick up for your fellow "atheist bandits" who show such disrespect as Shleed? Because standing for that just shows how tolerant and respectful you really are.

I didn't use it as a derogatory remark in that sense. I was taking the piss out of the views of people like Ragtime about homosexuality. You're the drama queen here, Anubis.
And also, I've never once said I'm 'proud' to be gay. I don't even identify as gay, I just use the word on here because it's much simpler than explaining other things again and again.
Why should I have to respect the views of people who believe I'm going to burn in some fiery 'hell?' I'll tolerate them, but I won't respect them.

I still am rational and 'nice' to people if I think they deserve it. If I think someone's a complete a***hole then I'll let them know it.

You even admit that you don't respect the religious beliefs of Ragtime. He actually debates properly, instead of typing the same insulting arguments over and over again.
Drama queen? You should see yourself.

Well, whatever sexuality you claim, you're not straight, right?

Ragtime: pride goeth before a fall.... and I hope you are enjoying the view from atop that chasm.

You should seriously consider a career in politics, because bullsh*t and spin are what you thrive upon.

Denying ANYONE their viewpoint, no matter what their belief, is Naziesque in it's nature, and is similar to the crap that went on in the Inquisition in the middle ages. Well it looks like Torquemada has done a Jesus and returned from the dead, only to take the guise of Ragtime. Hope you are enjoying your new role as Inquisitor, persecuting non-believers and shouting heretic to anyone who doesn't follow your God given view. Pity most others here haven't spotted you for the type of Christian you really are; one who puts himself on an equal footing with his God, and wants to rule over everything. A very ugly thing indeed.

Of course I don't respect Ragtime's religious beliefs. I used to have some respect for him, but not now that he's compared homosexuality to paedophilia and bestality, claimed that he somehow knows that I hate men, and come up with a shedload of other crap.

Haha, right. Ragtime doesn't claim to be God, but he is quite firm in his beliefs.

Where do you get "pride" from? What am I doing that's prideful, in explaining my religion? Answering religious questions on Wrong Planet is sometimes a full-time job, people are apparently so interested. Why shouldn't I satisfy that interest and curiosity? And why shouldn't I try to lend some clarity to the incorrect stereotypes you people make up about Christians?

I didn't compare the two, except to make an analogy between two different things. If I thought they were the same, I couldn't make an analogy, now could I?

For me to evaluate as a potential avatar for her, I meant. She asked me if it would work to get girls.

Hmm. That's unacceptable, but no reason to start threads crapping on peoples' religious beliefs. It could have been sorted before it got out of hand if you PMed a mod or something.

You were comparing them, don't say you didn't, if I'm not mistaken, one of your posts was about priests who molested boys, and you were blaming homosexuality.
