I have been found wrong on several occasions here. There are 2 responses I could have

I'm not an expert on everything, and those that are experts on given fields have corrected me on more than one occasion; graciously, politely, but definitely... I consider them learning experiences, and feel smarter afterwards.

I have a gimlet eye towards conspiracies; if they work, we don't hear about them, and if we hear about them, they're not working.

What I was saying was that I know older people have experience. That is why I listen to all adults.
In school I did everything my teachers told me to. I was the only one in class who actually listened to people.

I do a form of healing that involves telekinesis and remote viewing. I know some people don't believe me. But I heal all that time and the people I heal believe and I believe and that's all that matters.

I don't come on forum's to prove myself and when people ask for proof I never provide it.

The reason for this is because 1, I don't feel I have to justify my beliefs 2, they wouldn't change there view if I did prove to them, and 3,I save my healing ability's for those who need it and use it for healing rather then proving something.

I've been swearing off these dumb troll societies for two years now. I find that I gravitate back to them with ever decreasing frequency, so don't feel discouraged if you relapse. It takes time to break away from very bad habits.

I've had individuals endeavor spend weeks tearing me down in any way that they could, no matter how underhanded they had to be. They like trying to make my views look bad by getting me to behave like a distraught emotional wreck. Believe me, I know where you are coming from.

About half the people on these dumb boards ARE nothing but repugnant trolls. I've already encountered one here. You know what that jerk did? Honestly? He took a phrase where I dismissed the idea of treating people as subhuman or undesirable as inherently ridiculous, and he trimmed it so it would look like I was being arrogantly dismissive toward a legit argument that I actually agreed with. I honestly don't understand people who were born with no conscience at all.

The only credit to his name is that he isn't nearly the worst bottom-feeder I've run into. I've met some who have turned mendacity into an artform. One time I had one of those fools convince everyone else on the forum that I held some horrible view that I didn't, and after that every post I made there was ignored except by him and other trolls who liked to pick on people they knew they could screw with.

That's why I was as harsh as I was on that guy. After you've run into enough people like that, you realize it doesn't pay to be soft on them. Anytime you do, you just get burned.

Next time you see your therapist, ask him or her to help you work on the 'theory of mind' issue that comes with AS. Maybe this stuff actually does work for you, but nobody here has that information. All they have for it is your word. Against that, they have a great deal of information that tells them this stuff is utterly impossible and totally disproven. I don't know whether you are telling the truth, making it up, or just victim of wishful thinking. I really don't, and I ask you to be understanding if I go by ALL of the information I have at my disposal, NOT JUST your word of honor. I honestly mean no offense in being skeptical of this kind of thing. I have said the same thing to Christians who feel devastated because I did not convert to their beliefs after they made a noble demonstration of their faith.

It sounds like you have been treated unfairly. Buddy, I have been there. I truly have, and I know your hurt.

They were trying to call you schiz? You are right: that is pretty low, man. The worst thing you can do with a REAL schizophrenic is to be all harsh toward him over his delusions. The way they were treating you tells me they didn't think this at all. They were just low, miserable people who really were born without any conscience. I've run into a few too many people like that.

And the worst thing is that I'm usually too tender-hearted to try to fight back. I just get upset, and I self-destruct. The kind of people you are talking about are the kind of people who like to take advantage of other people's decency. They see any kind of honesty or kind-heartedness as a weakness in you that they can use to take you for a ride. They are like those fools who have contempt toward people who are charitable and trusting yet spend every minute of their lives trying to see how they can take advantage of them. There just aren't harsh enough words, man.

A lot of these troll societies also have a case of TPS (Tall Poppy Syndrome). I've had cases where unruly mobs would try to accuse me of being "pompous" because I used too many big words, and I've even been attacked for using peer reviewed journals to support my views instead of arguing with the dubious news articles they preferred to use. I've see it all, man. You get some real bottom-feeders around these kinds of places. They like to set a low standard because they know they're pathetic in an honest discussion.

I notice that guy has posted recently on that thread where I ripped on him. I wonder what he's said to try to weasel out of his BS now. The only good thing I'll say about the guy is that I don't think he's been at this crap long enough to develop any skill at doing it. I only hope he comes to his senses soon and realizes the kind of path he's on. I hate people who are calculating like that. I hate them. I honestly hate their guts. I don't like to be like that, but I don't know how else to think about someone who wants to be that kind of bottom-feeder.

People who are tender-hearted by nature haven't taken time to learn the calculus of being cruel toward other people. When negative emotions come out, they come out very messily. It ends up degenerating into screaming, shouting, and stomping of feet. Trolls like to single out people like that because it makes honest people look bad.

I've seen how bonafide lowlifes operate, man. They don't get like that because, when they take a shine to hurting someone, they feel like a dog chasing a rabbit. They don't get mad or upset because they get some kind of sick thrill out of causing social humiliation for a perfectly decent human being. It's how they get their rocks of, so they aren't losing control. Real goons are always like that. One thing that makes me sick is seeing demented pieces of filth screwing with people who are inherently better than themselves. It makes me sick, sick, sick.

When you encounter people who react like that kid did when a troll is on them, take it at as a good sign about that person's character. It means maybe there's something there that deserves some kind of love.

Trolls are a kind of sub-human vermin. If you don't keep them down, they take over, and they lord it over everybody. I've seen good boards go down because a bunch of those goons managed to cozy up to the admins. You'd be surprised at how often that kind of thing happens. One thing about people who are born with no honor at all is that they always have a kind of superficial charm. It's all schmoozing, but sometimes good people fall for it. I'm for real, man. I've seen them take whole communities down and leave the forums barren except for them and their cronies. They destroy everything they touch. The really sick thing is that they know it. The only thing that gives them more pleasure than messing up a good thing is knowing how much it makes decent people feel sick to their stomachs.

I have seen alot of trolls try to get me to respond this way. I don't respond at all, I just pm a mod and they are extremely helpful and WILL deal with it as soon as they get the pm. They don't mind if you pm them every time you have a problem , they actually prefer it. And they WILL deal with it fairly.

I have found the mods here to be pleasant and very understand and fair. They don't pick favorites and treat everyone with respect.

I think internet forums are pretty horrible by nature everywhere you go. You are often dealing with distasteful personality disorders, groupthink or just the miscommunications that come from typed conversation. Many people just can't accept that people are disagreeing with them. It escalates and escalates.

Political forums are the worst. I find both right and left political boards just too full of one track thinking. Discussing issues tends not to be welcome as they expect rote agreement and often get confused if you want to kick the ball around. They are largely for the choir and they only want preaching.

But 9/11 conspiracy is frowned upon on most sites. Ive seen it get people banned on several sites. I think there was a time there when 9/11 conspiracy fans were hijacking threads left and right and steering them to their favorite subject. I don't mind a specific thread for it, I just dont want to participate.
