I'm glad someone did, because I certainly didn't. I didn't know there was supposed to be a joke in there. :?

You ought to get out and around more.

Oh, I know it's a term for being patronizing, especially toward ethnic minorities - but dense Aspie that I am, I still don't get the joke.

I gave up on voting years ago.
The US election system is a complete sham.

South Park illustrated it best with the Giant douche vs. Sh*t sandwich episode.

Well I was going to post that I am impressed that this thread is so long and not once did anyone bring up the Nazis. But then I read on..... It is so odd how the longer a thread is the more likely it is that the subject will come up.

Jamie Kelso is not some random guy. He was a senior moderator at Stromfront, and corroborated with the founder for membership efforts. There are some (probably a minority really) sections that have posted on the site coordinating their members' efforts. You would think they would know who he is when he walks through the door. It also appears that the people arguing with him are Ron Paul supporters.

The same poster links to a site denouncing 'tea party nationalism.'. It has a 96-page PDF about racism, nativism, etc. in the Tea Party. You do understand if you double-click on the video it gives you the actual page so people can check this poster out, right?

I am voting for myself. I am going to vote, but Obama is a farce, and no Republican front-runner I really like, so until then it is me. I voted third party in 2008 because I thought Obama was just a smooth talker and Palin was incompetent.

I doubt they are Ron Paul supporters. Also, got news for you unless McCain had croaked Palin was a nonissue, and even then John McCain would have chosen the cabinet members and advisors, not her. A Vice President has very little actual power.

You do not honestly expect me to believe that 'it did not matter' was an acceptable excuse? And make no other response to the rest of my post, if there actually was one? Are you at least going to read the 96-page pdf on that website? It has references to Michelle Malkin and Pam Geller in there as well, and I believe at least one Tea Party leader was on Glenn Beck's show...

I imagine they were Ron Paul supporters, as all the other conservatives would have been gray haired, with walkers and oxygen tanks.

Bigoted remark. Right wing types occur at many ages and states of health. Perhaps among the right wing cohort there is a lower percentage of "persons of color" than in the general population. The libertarian ideology has an appeal to some young people who want to rebel against the statist establishment. Remember the liberal centrist position is the modal (highest frequency) position statistically speaking. The American public has been pickled in New Deal crap (and its successors) for something like 75 years. That is over two generations. The only reason I am not a libertarian is that libertarians tend to be weak on matters of self defense. I on the other hand have no scruples concerning exterminating enemies of the republic, and I do not give a fig about collateral damage. Otherwise I detest, denigrate, disrespect, hold in contempt, hold in low regard government. Government is ka ka. It may be a necessary evil but it is ka ka.

You owe conservatives an apology, not just the elderly...
