There will be stuff that's difficult to ignore directed at anyone who posts in this thread, I predict. I recommend ignoring it here as a test.

What can we agree on?

I put it to you that the fun of name-calling, and even the fun of recalling old insults, is less than the fun of novel, creative, and perhaps biting characterizations of individual actions. Actions, and patterns of actions, but not people.

Holy cow!! !

That was some good troll bait

All you have to do is propose an attempt to stop the trolling and they swarm the thread telling you why it will not work, how boring it would be and how great the past trolling has been.

Since the election, they have been so energised, it has been like they have an expresso trump enema.

They are hillarious when they are the most sincere.

Now just wait a cotton picking minute,I'm NOT a Trump supporter.I like my expresso in a cup,no thanks on a enema.
I'll take a pass on that and just have my coffee the good old fashioned way,by mouth.

Never said anything about being a Trump (WLB) supporter, but there is a troll in chief and it emboldens all of the lesser trolls.

Besides, who said I was talking about you except you.

Well all righty then.Just so I don't get lumped in with the Trumpateers.
Nice avatar by the way.

There's only two regulars in PPR I think verge on being trolls. I won't say who they are, but I'm looking at their names while writing this. They both seem to go out of their way to show how intellectual they think they are.

The Hittites were the main adversaries of the Egyptians during the Egyptian Middle Kingdom.

On the Internet, there is a copy of a treaty the Hittites signed with the Trojans (I believe).

The Hittites spoke an Indo-European language and had their own alphabet/script.

Sometimes you are funny when you actually mean to be, that separates you from many of the others here, but you have me wrong.

Trolls, troll everybody. I just troll trolls. I am a troll hunter.

I shine the light of their own absurdity on them and they crumble into dust (I wish).

Yep, the Hittites had chariots.

I believe, at some point in the transition from the Middle to the New Kingdom, the Hittites established hegemony over Egypt. Then, I believe, they became absorbed into the Egyptian population.

Previously, there were people called the Hyskos who overtook Egypt in the transition from the Old to the Middle Kingdom.

No. The Hittites and the Egyptians were like the Old Soviet Union, and the USA. Rival Empires. Niether conquered the other.

The Hittites ruled what is now Turkey. The Egyptian Empire conquered the whole fertile Crescent of what is now Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, and Israel. The Egyptians and Hittites fought each other, but neither conquered the other's homeland. In fact they signed the world's oldest international peace treaty (which doubled as an early extradition treaty).

Then at the end of the Bronze Age, and the start of the Iron, the whole middle east was shaken up. The Egyptians were reduced to a shell of their former selves. But the Hittite civilization was utterly destroyed.

What characteristics distinguished the Hittites from the Egyptians?

I stand corrected. I was probably thinking of the Hyskos.

And the treaty, of course, was signed between the Hittites and the Egyptians.

One distinction between the Hittites and the Egyptians was that the Hittites spoke a Indo-European language; whereas the Egyptians spoke an Afro-Asiastic language.

Looking at it realistically, how can it work? Be specific please.
Does being a realist make someone a troll?

Unless your were feigning offense in an attempt to cop an apology (sometimes fun) you did it all wrong. You tell them that you ARE an ardent Trump supporter and that you love Steve Bannon, too. It doesn't have to be true, it just has to have an angering affect on them.
End it with GO TRUMP! GO TRUMP! GO TRUMP!

Is this trolling? Not at all when it was then that attempted to draw first blood and you just tossed it back at them.

Now, you know that I'm a hardhearted and evil conservative, but IRL I was accused of being a Communist by a hardcore conservative coworker who thought that my stand on certain issues wasn't right wing enough. I don't cry or go home and kill myself (like many here wish I would :P ). I downloaded the National Anthem of The Soviet Union as a ringtone and made sure he heard it A LOT. I used words like comrade collectivism, Leninism, Bolshevism, revolutionary, and other things (often with a Russian accent) to taunt the living s**t out of him.
Same for when I get called a Nazi by liberals except that playing the Nazi role seems to be especially hurtful. :D

Again, it's their fault for poking a stick in the hornet's nest when they didn't have to.

Take this lesson to heart, my child, for it will serve you well...
