Conservative mods are despised by the liberal masses. :x

Oi, oi, oi. There is a difference between troublemakers and those who deserve to be banned.

Troublebrewers who persistently offend should be banned, simple as.

I agree with that, especially if their posts are of consistently low quality. But it is not just about banning.

Are you conservative Anubis? Parakeet Award is meant for liberals really. If you're a conservative you get a Cockatiel Award, same thing but for conservatives.

Since when have cockatiels have been a symbol for conservatism?

I got my own cockatiel shortly before my budgie died. They didn't get along. The cockatiel attacked the budgie whenever they were close enough.

And that happens, more or less.
A regular problem will compile
a history which dooms them.

But, what has been made clear,
is that this is not a decision to
be made, without tremendous
reason, by a mere mod.

Petey the parakeet gets along with all the birds except for Peppercinious; even the Cockatiels are afraid of him.

No. The budgie was a nervous thing, and we rarely took it out. One day, we did, and it took flight, and hit the ceiling fan.

8O

It wasn't on though.

But the poor thing had a stroke, and became constipated, we eventually had to put it down.

I found it best to let the birds have open cages, nobody likes to be locked up (except for when there's no one to watch them, but as I'm homeschooled and my sister cares for my invalid mother there is usually someone home most of the time.) My birds love their freedom, but they mainly stay by their gymnasium. They don't do a lot of flying, except for when they do their morningsong.

The first birds we had were caged,
but we allowed our canaries to fly
free. Ended up making a royal mess
everywhere.

After I got replaced with a conyer, my
wife kept it caged most of the time. But,
she was living someplace with carpeting.

iamnotaparakeet, is that you in the last picture? You look very young. I like all the birds, especially that dark grey one. I had a green budgie a few years ago but had to give it away because my cats were showing too much interest in him. How long do cockatiels usually live? They can fetch a high price here, particular if they have unusual markings.

I've never had much to do with birds but cockatiels would be one of the first type I'd consider if I were to get birds as pets.
