Actually, it has not been clearly identified if it was a nazi that turned the gas valve or a jewish collaborator.

I am not saying that it was another Jew that killed Anne Frank, but that there is insufficient evidence to unequivocally state that it was not.

But if it was, I'm sure that it was done under duress.

Actually, according to the official story (see wikipedia for instance):

1. Anne Frank died of typhus in Bergen-Belsen
and,
2. Bergen-Belsen contained no homicidal gas chambers

I think I have some responses to make on your other points. But sometimes I think it's best to take one point at a time. And you haven't answered my question - you've just thrown it back at me. You'd make a good politician!

You called Japan a racist country.
Do you think Israel is a racist country?
A "no comment" will do.

Oh, now THAT'S a good insult. To [attempt to] answer your question, I don't know if I can as easily come to a judgment on Israel. I kind of think that, because of the pressures of living in a hostile region, the Israeli state has been forced, for reasons of self-preservation, to develop in directions that might be contrary to the intents of its founders. (ie militarism) If Israel could be considered racist (I don't really know enough about how they treat foreigners to say if they are or not) it's probably more justified than in Japan, because in Israel they are surrounded by people who want them dead. Japan's racism is more based on an ancestral belief that the Japanese race is superior.

Let’s clarify some things.
You live in the United States, a country built on ethnic conquest and the ethnic cleansing of Indian tribes, and with a history of enslaving blacks. Now, though, the United States is a “liberal democracy”, they like to export their supposedly superior values to other countries by invading them. And in the name of “anti-racism”, whites in the US are deliberately discriminated against in the job market and in university admissions, while universities lecture students the unique evil of white people in the name of “white privelege” courses and “diversity training”.

I presume the American establishment doesn't much like to see successful countries that don't do things the American way. But ask yourself what it is about Japan that offends you so much. Is it so bad for them to want to just be left alone to exist and survive in their small corner of the world? What has that got to do with “superiority”?

Try to understand what it would mean for an ethnic group to lose its homeland to alien peoples. The end is pretty much the same whether the means are armed invasion or peaceful population transfer.

You didnt have Typus on your list?
Odd, as thats what she died from

"She died of Typhus in March, 1945 in the Bergen-Belsen Concentration Camp when she was 15. She was born in 1929 and spent over two years in a secret annex hiding from the Nazis."

Typus was a huge problem in the camps hence the Nazis great use of the insecticide Zyklon B for delousing the prisoners clothing and bedding.

The fact she was in the camps though was a result of the Nazis, but if you step even further back, do a bit of research, and you will find out who funded the Nazis and why, from there you will get the real answer as to who killed Anne Frank.

True. I would say we've mostly moved past that phase by now, but we do have some very ugly parts to our history.

Don't even get me started on affirmative action. I know a kid who got into three universities that rejected me even though he had lower test scores, class rank, everything else. I'm kinda pissed about that. Plus I have friends who got scholarship money for being minorities. Which is a load of bull, since they come from wealthier families than I do.

I have a friend who is a great fan of Japanese culture, and wishes to move there to teach English. She will never be afforded full citizenship rights if she does so. Japan has no problem taking advantage of America's accepting "melting pot" attitude, so why don't they respond in kind? Just the fact that they are unwilling to accept new people into their society simply because of their ethnicity is disturbing to me.
